El 1358g-51w, one beep at start and says operating system missing

Hello Jim, for what you say, the arm of your tray returns before you finish reading the disc?
If so, it may be that the return system of the arm is stuck or missing cleaning or lubrication, if you have the knowledge, should review the operation of said system, suggestion, remove the lower cover of the tray and aopye the tray in four high legs, which allow you to see the operation of the mechanism and see if it is working free or stuck
If not, go to a specialized technical service

Si es asi, puede ser que se encuentre trabado o falto de limpieza o lubricacion el sistema de retorno del brazo, si tiene los conocimientos, deberia revisar el funcionamiento de dicho sistema, sugerencia, retire la tapa inferior de la bandeja y aopye la bandeja en cuatro patas altas, que le permitan ver el funcionamiento del mecanismo y ver si esta trabajando libre o atascado
si no, concurra a un servicio tecnico especializado

Be sure to look on back of tower to see what power you need. The power plug needs to be 115v or 125v on most. Be sure your cord is the same voltage.

Beep sound indicates some hardware parts are not functioning properly(test all parts like Bluetooth,touch pad,Keyboard(test all the keys)etc...... If all parts are functioning properly reinstall the operating system
To reinstall you need *A copy of operating system loaded in a DVD or a CD

To reinstall *Insert the os CD to DVD drive *When your PC's logo appears keep pressing F12 *Select boot from DVD/RW++ *Select "INSTALL NOW"(in windows operating system) *Select a drive in which the operating system is to linstall *Follow the Instructions....

Hi,
the blue screen, is usually a Hardware Or Software ( operating System error ) The Computer beeping Once, States that The Computers Hardware is Fine. I,d try formatting the hard-drive, and reinstalling Your Operating System et,c. I,d assume this is a missing or corrupt windows system file. Or possible hard-drive error. ( virus-Trojan-Worm ) are also suspect.

Possible causes of the problem:
- Corrupted boot.ini of the operating system
- Your computer is infected by a virus

Solution:
- keep pressing F8 in start-up and it will show the boot menu and the choose last good known settings.

- Reinstall your computer operating system. You will be needing the support cd of your laptop and also the recovery cd.

You may need to access your system's setup. Usually by pressing a certain key during power up. Sometimes it's the DEL key, sometimes it's an "F" key. In the setup you need to tell the PC to boot up on that drive first, then save the setup. You neglected to say if your boot disc is floppy ot CD, but that drive must be bootable in the setup.
