If the service manual is not available on the JVC websites then you should just Google search "JVC A-GX3 service manual" There are many websites that archive manuals. You'll probably have to pay for a copy. Why can't you disassemble the unit and see the output transistor numbers first? More importantly how do you know this is the fault?

I have cambridge azur540a, it observed low noise and left channel heating without speaker connection.

Hi Veeranjaneyulu, control the output transistors, they are Darlington type, exciters and preexciters
I send you the service manual link, version 2 (V2)
Greetings Franco Dosil

Hola Veeranjaneyulu, controla los transistores de salida, son del tipo Darlington, los excitadores y preexcitadores
Te envio el link del manual de servicio, de la version 2 (V2)

I don't have a schematic but I have photos of that amp. What part do you need to identify?

1200 watt OV2-1200 amp diagram

It probably has shorted output transistors. Most of the time, all you need to do is replace the shorted output (and those in parallel with it).

Email me if you want the schematic. It's probably not needed for this repair.

Lightning strike to powered console.

On a generic level, without knowing the specifics of your equipment, I.E. amp & mixer make/model, you start at the mixers input stage. If an amplifiers output transistors die, they usually cause the amp to trip or blow a fuse, the weakest point in the system. If the amp is not doing this then the chances are, it's an line level problem, mixer related.  Again, you have to list the equipment you have in order for me to be more specific.

AudioBahn A2300HCT no sound

Generally, if the amplifier smokes, the power supply FETs have failed.

Many times, the output transistors fail and that causes the power supply FETs to fail.

Audiobahn won't release schematics. The amplifiers are relatively simple and a schematic isn't generally required.

If you know how to check the transistors, check them to determine the severity of the damage. If you don't know how to check them, read through the following page following all links provided.

DIAGRAM CIRCUIT

An IRF540 is an FET. It's likely being used as an output transistor in that amplifier.

JVC KS-AX4700

It sounds like you have blown your Output amplifier MOSFETs (Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistors) You will see some components with metal tabs, these are some of those along with some secondary stage pre driver transistors also screwed to the metal case (heat sink). Ok you will need some pieces of equipment. First you will need a schematic of the unit (never work without a schematic), second you will need a volt ohmeter (yes I am old) you might call it a multimeter. Now this is the bare minimum of equipment you need. first open ope the scematic and find the main voltage rails and test points, these will be important as you traces the source of your problem down. I want you to take measure ments of the test points and compare them to the measurements in the schematic, the places where the diffences are dramatic are the places the problem may be. remeber take these measurements and compare them to the schematic and then try to isolate the problem down to the components that are truly bad. Also pick up a book on how to repair audio amplifiers. This is the best I can do over the internet, happy hunting my friend.
