I have a Toshiba DVD Recorder DR4, and I can't get Auto Chapters to insert. I've done what the manual says...and still nothing. When I orginally set it up it worked, but after moving to a new house, this feature will not work. Any suggestions?

I have same TOSHIBA D-VR4XSU VCR/DVD RECORDER. According to the
manual, you (COULD) can use for recording: DVD-RAM, DVD-RW and DVD-R (see page 50). WRONG!!! I bought all 3 types of discs, but after few
weeks I got same experience you got now. Just type DVD-R works. The other
types were - wasted money and a lot of time trying to finalize the disc. I had to
throw all into the garbage. Try DVD-R and you should?? be O.K.
Most cable boxes that go past 99 are digital channels and require the cable box to tune them in. You can always set the cable box to the station you want and hookup the rca output to your DR4 rca input and record from that. Their is no other work around for this because the DR4 has an analog tuner inside of it and your cable box is a digital turner.
