How to inflate Intex Inner Tube

SOURCE: Intex pump 635 is a P.O.S.! How do I hook up a different pump?

I just left the standard intex connection on the pool and I cut the standard connection off of the filter side and I slid the hose over the top of a 1 1/2 pipe and put 2 stainless steel hose clamps over them and it worked fine

Im thinking that hot glue would not harden completly in a direct sun situation not to mention the potential mess
What I did was go to my local hardware store and bought rubber o rings ( sorry dont remember what size) put them on the fitting slipped the hose over it and clamped on top of that area. Has been fine all summer

If your pool filter and pump are running not and not circulating, it sounds like either your pump is not primed properly, you have an impeller jammed/or broken, or you have something clogging the hose to the return line that is causing pressure to build up. Check all three of these and bet you will find your problem.

This is on the outer limits of what you need.
It will do it but at a low pressure
Check out the chart on the following webpage and you can see the pressure/lift scale of this pump.
