The top of the plastic housing cover that the blade screws on to broke. I only had it a couple of years when this happened. I've been trying to find out how to get it repaired. It didn't get used enough for it to have simply broken. The machine has not been dropped. How can I get this repaired or replaced. It is a usless piece of equipment since the blade cannot be attatched. It was a lot of money to spend on something that did not perform up to my expectations. I have a "bad taste in my mouth" each time I see an informercial or see these juicers being promoted on shopping networks. Is there not an actual person I can speak to regarding this useless juicer?
The part has a lifetime warranty. Just call the customer care line at 1-973-287-5150 and give them your model number. You have to pay shipping though. Our shipping cost was about $26.

plastic housing that screws into blades has broken - only about a year old.
Same problem. Male screw that attaches to blade deteriorated. Can't fine a way to repair it.
Had exactly the same problem and was told that you have to buy a completely new juicer in UK as no parts are stocked here.
Also was told that this problem is not unique and is a design fault in all the JLL juicers and are not covered under US warrantys.
have now bought another juicer but not a JLL due to this common fault.

yes same problem.
Same problem. Had it for 3 years. The website for Jack LaLanne's juicer website had a number and we are having the part sent to us! The part has a lifetime warranty, but shipping was about $26. Call 1-973-287-5150 and provide your model number.
Went to use the juicer and the plastic piece ocer the motor that the blade screws onto brock.About 1/4 of it brock off. This juicer is only about 1 1/2 years old and is not used that much for this to happen. It is also always stored in the box with the packing around it. I like this juicer but if this is going to be a big ordeal I will never have another.
