PLEASE HELP!!!! Driver Needed!

I have bought a Generic Memory (WLG1101) wireless card a few years ago. Installed the driver and everything works fine. Recently, I have reinstalled my Windows XP. I have been unable to use the wireless card because I cannot find the driver CD and the store which I bought the wireless card from does not carry it anymore. Can you please tell me where I can download the driver OR can someone please just send the driver to me? I tried everywhere to find. THANKS SO MUCH!

Try using this card on another PCI slot. Seems to be problem at the PCI port that you have connected the card.

Do you have any discs given to you when you got the laptop? if you did have a look through them and there should be a driver suitable for your wireless internet driver. And also look through your internet service providers box which you were given your modem in and/or if its an external wireless drive (like u USB plug in wireless Internet) look for a disc because there might also be a driver for the wireless internet on the discs provided if you needed them to setup your internet. If not, Give the Technician a call and see if he/she has a backup of the drivers he/she used to setup your notebook. If they don't they will certainly direct you on the whereabouts to where you can find one and make sure its free since you purchased it pre-installed and was not given any discs which are meant to be given to you incase of such accidents.

HP pavilion wireless uninstalled itself
I have the exact same issue with a wireless card. Most likely the card is bad. The driver is not uninstalling itself, it simply can't see the hardware and is therefore not listed. Change out the card, and it should resolve the issue.

Radeon ATI 9600XT video card
Try this, I just tested (2 days ago) an Albatron that arrived here with a 9800pro, crashing everytime they tried to play games.
I installed the latest drivers etc that "should" have resolved the issues...It made it worse. Updated everything including the chipset etc.

After driving myself crazy for several hours I installed the Catalyst 7.3 drivers... Away it went fine, tried the 7.4 (same problems as before), back to 7.3 and fine again.

So with Albatron boards and ATI cards, try the Catalyst 7.3 driver located <HERE>

You have described the issue pretty well, however, there are some more questions which still need to be asked and we would need to go through a series of troubleshooting steps before ariving at a solution. The DWL-G510 doesn't start
If you have formated all your drives you will have no official motherboard drivers for your pci bridge, sound driver, onboard lan or video, usb or agp slots, only the generic windows drivers which arent always reliable, so check you motherboard model and then go to the manufacturer web site and download the correct drivers. All the work you have done was unnecassry unfortunately, unless it gave you major system faults, the fault may have been motherboard drivers, i also recommend removing the pci card and before installing the board drivers and using a different pci slot.
