Owner manual for Stereo Cassette Deck JVC KD-720

Owner Manual isn't found, as there is a car stereo with a similar number. A standalone Cassette deck only supplies a data signal, so you need and amp.

My jvc kd-s27 turns on fine then goes to protect flashing will not stop or do anything else

Sounds like one or more of your speakers are grounded out or just bad. Did they all play fine before. Check your wiring to make sure it’s correct

Why does my JVC model KD r660 CD receiver keeps saying send service protection

Unfortunately, this "Protecting Send Service" message indicates an internal fault on the KD-R660. The unit needs to be opened and JVC recommends that the receiver be sent to a service center.

I wish that I had better news for you. The trouble-shooting information for the error is given on page 21 of the manual. The manual is available here: https://www.carid.com/images/jvc/stereos/pdf/kdr460-guide.pdf .

My jvc kd-r418 is protect

that happened to me too once, in my case it turns that one of my speaker wires came loose from back of speaker and was touching the metal in my truck. after correcting the wires it still said protect, i then found the reset button located under faceplate and held it down for a few seconds and my receiver was back in business.

JVC KD-R610 is stuck in Protect mode

Try disconnecting your battery, reconnecting it, and resetting your stereo. If that doesn't work, the constant power (yellow wire) or ignition wire (red wire) may have come in contact with ground or isn't properly connected. Make sure everything is connected properly and try resetting your stereo. If it is still flashing "protect", the unit needs servicing Contact JVC Customer Care Center at: 800-252-5722.
