this is a common failure in this set it does have to do with the power supply but there is more this set shuts down the way it does for the reason of bad led strip. some of your led's are burnt up it has 2 rows one on each side of the tv. very hard part to find. and lots of work you have to take the screen completely apart
Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Found the mainboard and the powerboard here. I think it may need a mainboard switch because of the red light blinking. Does your unit have internet connectivity? Try the main board since it does have power coming through.
