There is an optical output from your Virgin + box but there is no optical input in the Goomans, there is only 5.1 input. The only way to do it is to connect the re and white phono audio output from you virgin box to the red and white tv inputs on the goodmans, this will sound good but it will not give you dolby digital sound.
sounds like that model # is for the A/C coil or its a heat pump air handler. In any event I am not aware of any "repair manual" that is put out by Goodman to the public. They have classes on their equipment but they are geared to the professional serviceman.

Have you checked that the TV isnt Muted/ Volume turned to 0 ? i would check in the menus if that is the case.
If this is not what is happening i suggest you surf over to the Goodmans website at www.goodmans.co.uk/ to see if there is any troubleshooting/FAQs on there. if not, i would call Goodmans customer Support, their number is located on the said website !
