Re: I hve problem wit my acer laptop
The beeping denotes a hardware problem within the laptop. Depending on the beeping sequence, it may refer to video, memory, battery condition and others.
A simple quick try fix would be to check the memory. invert the laptop, remove one of the panel cover and you will see a memory stck clipped to its slot. Try wiggling it, remove and re-insert, clean the tips and reseat. Hopefully this should do the trick. If it does not, you might be better off seeking the servies of a qualified professional since this involves opening the unit and doing hardware fault diagnosis.
Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things went or should you need further information.
Good luck and kind regards.

If it gets as far as the cursur blink then it it getting past the BIOS menu. I have a Toshiba laptop and if I leave a cd or DVD in the drive, it does exactly the same. When it gets to the BIOS menu option, go to the BIOS menu and choose Default Settings. That may get it back together. If you have no disks then it is not easy to get the system recovered. Hope this helps.
similar story trying to fix friend's 5420. She had trashed Vista and lost any&all original discs. Well, who needs vista anyway...it's not one of M$'s better efforts. TRY THIS, download LinuxMint from a reliable source, burn a "live CD". put into drive, boot machine, during boot press "Alt"+"F12", select CD to boot from. See how it feels.
Wait couple minutes for boot to finish then manually click on tiny icon next to network icon to load wireless driver, (don't ask...), on bottom right of screen.
Learn some new stuff, toss some windows. enjoy.
do you have anything connected to your pc that is removeable if so remove it unplug etc til your computer is fully booted to your welcome screen
also make sure no cds dvds usb flash drives are plugged in while booting
And if this is not it when starting computer boot press usually
F1 or F2 to go into boot menu then look for boot options mmake sure they are under harddrive nvidia boot menu etc but not under dvd/cd
or external then reboot
should under normal circumstances fix the problem
hope it helps
Try this: once you turn on your Acer Laptop, immediately it shows the acer logo on your screen, press 'Esc" button constantly or press the "Esc" button continuously immediately you turn on your laptop.
