HELP! ON A FRIGIDARE GALLERY SERIES, THE FREEZER IS COOLING LIKE A REFRIGERATOR, AND THE REFRIDERATOR IS NOT COOL AT ALL. COULD THIS BE THE DEFROST UNIT IS STUCK ON DEFROST. IS THERE A WAY TO UNSTICK IT?

Check 4 build up of frost on the coils if frosty take a hair dryer n defrost then plug back in, either your defrost timer,heating element or condenser!

Check freezer... for Frost build up and if Fan is blowing, Check condenser... To make sure clean, and the fan is blowing by compressor, Check Recirclating Vents in refrigerator... to make sure theres no blockage, CONTROLS ...should be in the middle setting,

The freezer works great its cold, but refrigerator wont get very cold, cools down to 53 sometimes 48 degrees. I believe its a frigidare about 4 years old.
