The tc(traction control) light is on because the abs light is on, 99 percent of the time its a bad speed sensor, most speed sensors go bad due to a bad wheel bearing. if your driving and hear a slight or loud humming sound from the front of the vehicle then replace both front wheel bearings and your lights will go out

My land rover free lander is showing TC ABS and picture of a truck slopping forward on the dash what does these mean

HEE hee hee the three amigo's, Those three lights are one of the worst design flaws Land Rover has manufactured. I tell you that it is thee most annoying flaw known to man kind. Okay, there are various areas to look into. Wheel sensors all round are situated easily to come by and is not difficult. After the vehicle is SAFELY been jacked up and is supported with wheels removed from vehicle, you will find a single wire going to the part where the cv joint meets with the hub. Care should be taken seriously here, cause you need to remove the sensor with respect not to damage. After removed inside the hole where the sensor came out is a copper type ring. With great caution remove this. At this time you will be needing a fine sand paper and shine the copper ring inside and outside. Alternatively the best should be to rather install new copper rings. Inside the hole where the copper ring sits, some how sand paper that to shine as well. As for the sensor, you may not use sandpaper to shine, but some thing like a brillow pad used in the kitchen for cleaning grit from pots the material fabric not steel wool, and shine with this. Go all round and use above mentioned. Check to see if the wire of that sensor is not chaffed through as well. Install is the reverse of the removal. Now underneath the cv joint at the hub, there is a opening to a holed ring, and with a steel brush, turn the cv whilst cleaning the ring all round. Make sure there is no fracture and debris. Take care when installing the sensor though. Use some thing like a soft mallet and gently punch in the sensor until you observe it don't go no more. The sensor will now be seated up unto the holed ring on your cv joint. When all wheels back on the movement of the cv will insure efficient gap setting between the sensor and the ring of the cv. Drive to see what happens on your dash. If the lights still come on, then dress into the jean with the deepest pocket full of cash, and order a complete new four wheel sensors as well as the ABS control which is situated on the front with various brake pipes leading to it and wiring. I do how ever recommend that get it installed by someone qualified. As for the Hill decent control light, that is a failure sometimes just from chaffed through wiring or a switch located on your gearbox, located in the front bottom which is only engaged when in 1st gear. Remove and replace these and if still the three amigo's are on, take vehicle to a qualified auto electrician. Again dig deep into your pocket.

Abs and tc lights on dashboard remain illuminated after reset

Bring it back to the repair shop that did the initial repair and have them complete this repair. There is something wrong. They have to reinspect their work and check the ECU for loose wiring and determine whether you need a new ECU.

IF this is a 1.8 litre engine then the throttle stop needs to be reset otherwise drive each abs wheel speed sensor in a bit and test.
