Depending on the make of the stereo it will have a 2 piece casing which will allow you to take one part off , normally the lid by removing a couple of small screws or the lid maybe even clipped onto the lower case. Once the lid is off you should be able to get the cd out. If the stereo is security coded do not disconnet it from the electric supply unless you have the code!

Try disconnecting the battery for a few seconds and try to eject the cd, if this don't work you can take the cd player to the dealer ship and they can send it to be repaired

Cd will not eject, stuck inside the upper part of truck 2003 cd player

Keep trying to get it out on your own, but if you cannot, you may have to take out the cd player and take it apart. If you are not good with that kind of stuff, a shop will do it for you. If you try to do it yourself, try this link: http://www.ehow.com/how_5864746_remove-stuck-cd-car-stereo.html please rate 4 thumbs up!

You have to take it apart. look for screws on the panel around the stereo. pull it apart as much as you can. Inside the cd player will likely be a peanut butter sandwich.

My cds are stuck in the player. They won't play or eject. The message reads "cd error"

Hi Texasgirl826,
There is nothing I can tell you to do that won`t damage the player.

I have one sugestion, go to a shop that installs car stereo, don`t go into the store, go to the bay where the workshop is and ask one of the installers real nice like if he could take it out for you, I`m sure he would.
It is a bit tricky to do it, but it can be done, without having to remove the deck and taking it apart.
Good luck.

Stuck CD

Chances is it bounced out of its supported location and lodged it`s self inside the stereo. The stereo will have to be removed and taken apart to retrieve the disc if your not sure how to disassemble then take to dealer
