Same problem - VN-600PC voice recorded would not transfer files under Windows XP. Running the file provided by Olympus from the best solution above fixed the problem. Why do Olympus make it SO difficult to find this patch ...

After installation on my PC with Vista, I am unable to transfer files to PC.

Digital wave player installed on my Vista PC. I am not able to transfer files from recorder to PC, files are visible in "recorder" but cannot be moved by known methods, nor played. Direct recording is functional.
uploaded softwarte disc for vn 2100pc but cannot transfer files to pc. ABCD icons will not highlight. Contacted seller who tells me i must refer back to manufacturer.

Have downloaded the Instruction Manual for VN-2100PC froim Olympus site - no mention of how to download files to PC although it says in the advert you can. Also Downloaded Digital Wave Player which locates the files but will not transfer them - come on Olympus
