Question about Vivitar ViviCam 4100 Digital Camera
I've used this camera for the last 8 months and it's worked just fine. It started flickering at me about a month ago and would shut off within seconds of being turned on, but then it went back to working fine. I tried to turn it on the other day and it wouldn't come on at all. I've tried changing the batteries and nothing works. There are pictures on it that I really want, but if I can't turn it on, I won't be able to pull them off and put them on my computer. Is there any place I can take it where they can pull the pictures off? I don't care so much about salvaging the camera as I do the pictures on it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Make sure the batteries you try are new and not cheap crap, or improperly charged or old recharghables. You can by a card reader that plugs into your USB for $15 - $50 dollars and download the photos then. Or bring your memory card into just about any photo store to have them put it onto a cd for you which you can then copy onto your computer. $5-$10
