Whe you press the lock button it wont lock. It will unlock when you press the code

Look I locked my phone 4 times to unlock it take the battery out put it back in then press the power button and the volume up button until something pops up then press wipe factory data then hit reboot now I'm 100% sure you don't even need a sim code

PROGRAMMABLE KEYPAD LOCK
To prevent tampering with any of your settings or
temperatures, the front panel buttons and the rotary dial can
be locked out, requiring a four digit code to unlock them.
You may use either the default lock code of "0000", or your
own personal number combination (see "Changing The Lock
Code")


LOCKING THE THERMOSTAT: Ensure the rotary dial is in the
RUN position. Press the NEXT button for at least 2 seconds.
The words "ENTER CODE" will appear on the screen, along
with "0000". Press the NEXT button again for at least 2
seconds. A padlock should appear on the screen to confirm
that the thermostat is now locked.


LOCKING THE THERMOSTAT: Ensure the rotary dial is in the
RUN position. Press the NEXT button for at least 2 seconds.
The words "ENTER CODE" will appear on the screen, along
with "0000". Press the NEXT button again for at least 2

UNLOCKING THE THERMOSTAT: Ensure the rotary dial is in
the RUN position. A single press of any button should cause
the words "ENTER CODE" to appear on the screen, along
with "0000". If the default code was used to lock the
thermostat, press the NEXT button for at least 2 seconds.
The padlock should disappear from the screen, and the
thermostat should now be unlocked.
If you try to unlock the thermostat by entering a code that is
not correct, a padlock and the digits "88:88" will flash on the
screen and you will have to try again. If a lock code
different from the default was used, this will need to be
entered by using the UP/DOWN buttons, and the NEXT
button to advance to the next digit. Once the correct code is
entered, press the NEXT button for at least 2 seconds and
the thermostat should now be unlocked.


CHANGING THE LOCK CODE: To create your own specific
lock code, first ensure that the rotary dial is in the RUN
position. Press the NEXT button for at least 2 seconds. The
words "ENTER CODE" will appear on the screen, along with
"0000". Now press the HOLD button again for at least 2
seconds. The words "SET CODE" will appear on the screen,
along with "0000".

IF YOU FORGOT YOUR LOCK CODE: You can still unlock the
thermostat by performing the following steps: On the back
of thermostat locate JP1, which is a row of 3 metal pins at
the right edge of the circuit board above the battery tray.
There should be a plastic jumper cap on 2 of the 3 pins
(right or left).


Move the jumper cap so that it is on the opposite 2 pins.
For this change to be recognized, move the Temperature
Mode switch to any other position than its current one.
These steps listed should have changed the lock code back
to the default of "0000". Follow the instructions already
listed in "UNLOCKING THE THERMOSTAT".

It is locked. Unlock it.
Apex TVs have parental locks that allow you to block certain programs based on
their rating. When this feature is no longer needed and you want your TV to display all programming no matter its rating, you must unlock your TV. Unlocking your Apex TV is done completely from your remote control and does not require any tools. The process takes less than 5 minutes.
• Press the "Menu" button on the remote control and use the arrow buttons to scroll down to the "Parental Guide" option, then press the "Enter" button.
Type in the default parental code "6688" if you have not set your own code. If you have set your own code, type it in. If you set your own code and forgot it, override it by using "6688."
Use the arrow keys to switch the parental lock to "OFF." This allows all programs to be viewed no matter the rating. Press the "Exit" button on the remote and start watching all your channels.

To make the keys light up when you want to enter your code, you have to push the lock button on the keypad first. If the keypad light never comes on, open the door and manually lock the interior lock, then press the keypad lock button. The above instructions should then work.

Channel guard and V-Chip settings are protected by a four-digit lock code. Your TV comes

pre-set with a lock code of "0000". You may change the code to any four-digit number you
wish. To change the lock code, follow the steps below.
Press the MENU button
Press [UP/Down] button to SET LOCK CODE.
Press [=> / <=] buttons to operate [lock icon appears]
Press ZERO to acess the lock code. The first digit will be highligted.
Press [ => / <=] button to select the number.
Press [Up/Down] button to move the next digit and continue to follow these directions for all the four digits.
Press OK button to finish.
Press the menu button when finished
DO THIS AFTER UNPLUG THE TV FROM AC MAINS WALL SOCKET, AND LEAVE IT FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES OR SO, REPLUG IT TO ac MAINS, AND DO ALL THE ABOVE SAID PROCEEDINGS. THIS PROCESS WILL ERASE ALL THE V-VHIP CODES, IF SET, AND WILL ALLOW YOU TO SET AN OTHER OF YOUR OWN. The default V-Chip code is [0000]. Ok.

i would recommend reloading the device software using the desktop software available on blackberry.com
normally a blackberry will not tell you to enter 'blackberry' unless it is trying to wipe the device.
