This is an early floppy drive model yes? Drive error could refer to corrupt floppy disc or a failure of the drive. Check the disc angle first - new disk formatted to camera. If it is not that - then buy another camera A repair I guess will not be an option -but checkout Sony first.

My acre aspire 5517 keeps getting a disk read error occurred and I keeps repeating it over and over what do I do?

First - re-seat the hard disk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot and go into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If it doesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty.
Then the hard drive needs to be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer or laptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioning computer/laptop again.

Hi have run a check lots of errors on the sata disk can i fix this myself

Basically you can fix most errors. A tech would run either the operating system disk utilities or run a specialized suite. Depending on the error this will normally fix everything. If the error continues or gets worse then the drive may have to be formatted or even replaced. Usually drive errors are fixable unless it is a actual hardware error.

The first thing to try is simply run windows error checking. When you open my computer and it shows the drives right click on the drive you want to fix and then left click on properties. This should bring up a new window. Look for the tools tab along the top. Click on that. Should be error checking at the top. then click check now. There are two tick boxes and both need to be checked for this to fix anything. Once they are click on the start button. This can take a few hours to run so you need to start it and leave it alone. You can't use the computer when doing this. If it asks you to reboot then do that and it will check the drive after it reboots but before windows controls the drive with all sorts of processes. When done it will come up with a window telling you what it did and what it fixed. If there are still errors or to double check re-run it. Past this point you need to use special disk error check software (usually $$$). These software programs usually fix most errors but take time but they also do not do anything to your data on the drive (documents, pictures, etc). If you take it to a shop about 99% of the time they will spend 5 minutes looking at then format it as that is the quickest sure way short of replacement to fix this issues. So if this looks like a possibility you need to save off all your stuff that you want to keep as it will be gone.

You can format a drive yourself quite easily but if it is your boot or C drive then you will need to re-install windows and all of your software before you can use the computer. So you would have to have all the software disks, serials numbers and the hardware drivers and so on all ready before you do this.

Start off with the error check and fix and that should get it

Upon start-up, I keep getting an error message 0xc00000e9 "An unexpected I/O error has occurred". I do not have a drive and cannot seem to get to system restore. Help!

try booting to safe mode.
go to Start, my computer, and right click, select properties and then under tools, check disk for errors. Select automatically fix errors and it ask you if you want to schedule a scan when the computer restarts, say yes.

Reboot and let it fix it for you.

My dell inspiron 1720 keeps rebooting. Pressed

Yes. You'll need to replace the hard drive with that error code.

No matter you can't use that computer without replacing the hard drive.

If you have a warranty for the computer contact tech support for your dell, give them the error code you have
and they will immediately replace your hard drive.

Re seating the hard drive won't fix it.

Hope this helps!

A Disk read error occured PressCtrl+Alt+Del to restart.

If you are getting a disk read error, you will need to use a program like spinrite to fix it or you will need to replace the hard drive.
This is one error you don't want to see. It means your hard drive is failing.
You will not be able to do a system restore as long as you get this error.

Red light blinking system error E74

this might be a hardware failure. try turning it off then back, or try keeping a fan on it when you play on and if that doesn't work call 1800myxbox there you'll find step by step instructions to send it down to texas and get it fixed. if that happens three times you will recieve a brand new xbox 360 that has that problem fixed. also keep in mind to keep your hard drive before you send it to be fixed. i really hope this helps with your problem
-good luck
