Change the thread in the bobbin and then try...then change the top thread only and try...helps to see where the problem could be...change the needle again and get it from a different pack. Sometimes needles from the same pack can have the same problem( burrs, nicks, filings, etc...) that are impossible to see with the ***** eye. Oh and buy brand new thread...we tend to think that all thread is good to use and it is NOT. Old thread looses elasticity, frays, and breaks constantly. It may 'look' good, but is a sewists greatest enemy!! Good luck!
The belt may look fine but could have lost elasticity. Stretch belts will lose elasticity and should be replaced at least once or twice per year. If the brush strips are worn or frayed it will not pick up properly.
Rafael, I am not aware of any camera repair station that will do this...., but as these tripods use the same type of bungee materials as tent poles..., I would contact a company in your area that does repairs on backpacking tents. I suspect that they can probably fix this for you.
If you've had this iron for a while it sounds like the cord may be frayed. switch it off at the wall and unplug it, check the cord for wear, if the insulation is frayed, torn or broken and there are black burn marks on the cord where you saw sparks then the cord needs to be replaced. DONT plug the iron back in until the cord is replaced.
Otherwise If there are no breaks or black burn marks on the cord, then your power point may be faulty and needs to be replaced!
Make sure that the machine is threaded correctly, that the needle is in
properly, that the bobbin case and bobbin are both inserted correctly
and that you are not using old thread.
Make sure that there is a new needle in the machine and loosen the top
tension about a number
May need to break the unit down to replace the cord, there should be some tec screws under the belt cover to remove the motor housing cover, may be two to thee wires. the rest should be simple.
