I've open the keyboard and try to vacuum the dusty keyboard but it doesn't work. there is a connection between the keyboard and the laptop itself there is a slot and with a keyboard cable i've touched it do that damage the keyboard and worse my usb mouse now is moving and clicking by itself.

Wheres the numberlock key located

On most HP laptops, you hold down the "fn" key (usually near the lower-left corner of the keyboard) and press the "num lk" key (usually near the upper-right).

If you need further assistance, please add a comment to your question and specify the model of your HP laptop.

How to get rid of numberlock in ibm thinkpad t30

Hi Ritadeng,

On the Thinkpad T30, the number lock key can be turned on or off by pressing the shift-key and the scroll-lock key. The scroll lock button is found at the top of the keyboard between the PrtSc button and the Pause button.

You should see the light with the arrow and the number 1 inside (just above the F7 key) turn on and off when you press this.

Hope this helps!

Keyboard codes

I think they have to be programmed into the game (whatever)that is? Most game programmers do this anyway but in some games they use emulation such as what you experience ie;W,A,S,Z(they emulate the arrow keys).....there is no way out of this unless you go in to the game programme itself. Thats why you couldnt find any in C++
