TV does not show picture

I have JVC D-Ila TV. When I turn it on, the motor runs but a picture does not show. The TV stays on a few moments and then turns off. Do you know what the prblem is?

I have a similar problem. My tv was on one day and this problem occurred im not sure why. But the screen went blank and there was no volume other than a thumping noise over and over again. When I tried to turn tv on afterwards there is no picture and no sound just a thumping noise, and then It will click and shut off after a few minutes by itself.

TV will not show picture or any image. The power button will blink 10 times

and shut off.

I HAVE A MITSUBISHI WD 60735 NOT 3 MONTHS OLD AND IT WILL NOT EVEN MAKE NOISE ANYMORE LET ALONE TURN ON I AM REALY PISSED OFF

Check the fuse in the back, inside of the TV, by taking off the back cover by loosening 3 or 4 screws. The fuse may have burned out and you just have to replace it. It could be something else, though.

have you checked the bulb? they do break down. if the bulb is good condition, have it send to a repair man.

Probally the Ballast board have problems,if the safety switch problems,u should not have a picture at all in the first place.Now,the tv turn on?U hearing alot of clicking?Yes,the Ballast board is dead,it not igniting the projection lamp anymore.

I have a 56" JVC rear projections HD ILA tv.

Turn tv off and unplug it. Take the access door off either side of the tv. Use a dust cleaning tool like a swiffer with an extension (or make one). Clean off lens (most likely the problem). I have the same thing that happens to my JVC 61". You can use a vacuum with extension if your VERY careful.

I am unable to get the optical out on my tv to work i tried plugging it into my receiver and nothing when i hook it strait to the hd dvr it works but i want the surround from the tv so i can run all of my...

I belive the JVC hd-ila will only output digital audio when you are on a digital source. If you tune a digital channel on antenna or cable, it should work. If this doesn't work check all the settings, you may have a hardware failure. I personally would run the line directly from the hd dvr to the stereo and take out the middle man to keep your signal as true as possible.
