SOURCE: Walbro Carburetor on Briggs & Stratton Model 28R707

If the float don't float, the needle valve stays open and gas runs into crankcase.

If float floats (has no gas inside) then the needlel is probably worn and needs replacement.

What is the torque sequence on a 18 hp. v twin motor briggs and stratton motor

If your talking about the cylinder head bolts. I don't know the exact sequence but I was a truck mechanic for forty years and went by the rule of thumb to start in the center and work towards the ends. That way you avoid a buckling o9f the head.

I have briggs and stratton powered mower with the 18.5 v-twin ohv intek engine modle 407777 type 0121-E5 CODE 000512ZYG MY PROBLEM IS THAT MY CRANKCASE IS FULL OFA GAS OIL MIXTURE THE OIL FILTER ALSO...

When the float in the carb sticks, it allows fuel to drain into the cylinder, that runs pass the rings into the crankcase. When the crankcase is full the pistons cannot go down, and the starter won't turn the engine. Drain all the oil gas mixture, and refill with proper oil. Replace float, needle and seat in the carb bowl. Throughly clean fuel passages, and bowl. If motor won't turn, remove spark plug and turn over engine a few times to remove gas oil mixture from the cylinder too.

So have you actually checked spark to both plugs? If so then inspect valves to be sure valves are operating. Sounds like running on one cylinder. A quick check would be to unplug one spark plug at a time. You may find if you remove the dead plugh wire, there is no change. If you unplug the running cylinder it probably won't start. Sometimes the compression release mechanisms can come apart or come loose. Download your manual for you engine model at www.briggsandstratton.com

Murray riding mower 12.5 hp briggs & stratton spitting oil & gas out of carb & muffler when trying to start

Drain oil... it is full of gasoline due to a bad float pin and rubber gromet in your carb. When your float pin and gromet fail, gas just keeps flowing into your carburetor, eventually flooding your motor with gas and oil mix.

B&S ELS 725 on a Husq 2448 lawn tractor - stoppe running won't st

There is no oil pressure switch to save the motor. You may be ok if the oil level did not drop too low. Change the oil, recharge the battery, put in a new spark plug and fresh gas. You may be lucky and have it start with no damage. good luck
