I was given an old radar detector that belonged to my dad. The manual I received is not the manual that went with the detector. I was wondering where I might find an old copy of a manual. Anyone know where it might be found? Thanks for any help. Lizard Lou
As a former Whistler employee i can tell you the unit was manufactured by Whistler, but prior to the company being acquired by the current ownership. As far as I know, no manuals are available, but the operation is rather simple with no customer- adjustable controls. The unit does not have any drivers or CPU, just a microwave waveguide and circuit board

I found a statement from Whistler Support that is was not manufactured by Whistler Inc. and was produced prior to 1999. If youre somewhat handy, you might want to open it up and read the fcc id number on the logic board. Search for it here; http://www.driverzone.com/fcc_id_search.htm and it will tell you the manufacturer. It may provide some better information to search with. Why would you even want to use something with technology that old? It has a woodgrain housing for petes sake!! :0) Best of Luck

Silly question. Never used a radar detector before. Was given this one and have no manual. What do the "X" and "K/Ka" lights/sounds mean? I've searched briefly for a manual and can't find one. Does anyone know where I might? Thanks.
