A tech might be able to get into the hidden tech menu---sub brightness and sub contrast settings are there and it is not real easy to get into and does vary from model to model---access is with the original remote.
A suggestion if you can not or do not want to pay would be to search with Google and the model number for a "Service Manual" which will in it have instructions and indicate how, it will also have a list of items in that menu---be careful what you adjust there.
u could try changing the convergence ic if that is not it then u have to go in to the back door of the eprom to set but i think pansonice u need a service remote to get in. i hope this will hp marty
