You need to press the function/set button and click right until you reach the "Stitch Assist" icon. It looks like two overlapping boxs. Once you activate it, take photos, repositioning each shot to align with the last. When you are done, press function/set button again to end the process. After you download your images you will need to use the bundled software, ZoomBrowser, to stitch the images together. The option is in the Tools menu, "Stitch Photos".

Hi there left my manualin nz n im in aus now.. just wondering where do i find my option for stitch assist on camera ixus 70

FUNC menu : Auto : Manual
REC menu : Stitch Assist

The IXUS 70 is called the SD1000 in some parts of the world. You can download manuals and more for the SD1000 from the manufacturer's web site at
http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/digital_cameras/powershot_sd_series/powershot_sd1000#BrochuresAndManuals

Full details are in the "Shooting Panoramic images" section of the Advanced User Guide (page 44 in my copy).

Hi the camera is a Canon Powershot A520 borrowed from a friend whom is overseas. I have taken panoramic pics and want to stitch them together. I down loaded them to my photos and can't find any...

Of course you need a software.
Download IrfanView (this is a free download. and I recommend CNET for downloads) and install it. Use 'Create Panoramic image...' menu option.

I have a cannon Ixus 75 digital camera, which I have had for several years, and cannot get the date to print on the photo's. I have set the date and time as instructed in the namual, but when I go to...

The date stamp will only work when the camera's resolution is set to postcard mode. Press Func/set, scroll down to the bottom, then across to the icon with the clock and mountain. It will say "postcard". Press Func/set again. Then press Menu, scroll down to "Date stamp" and across to select date or date and time, then press menu again.

Can we use canon ixus 75 as a webcam

A raw image is an uncompressed format your camera takes the picture in. Usually it gets transferred from the camera into a .jpg compressed format to your computer (which simplifies everything and is able to be viewed by anything like photo viewers). I would search for a canon IXUs 75 driver for your computer, and turn your camera 'on' plugged in with your USB using a standard computer photoviewer program to see if it has a live mode?

Hi how can i turn on date stamp on my canon ixus

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Canon sd 750

Hi

It means that there is not enough light and your camera needs to be supported due to the long length of time the aperture needs to be open to get a decent picture.

Set your flash to 'Automatic' and it will flash in these low light conditions and you won't get blurry photos.

Good luck from Darntoothysam com

Battery display on canon ixus 75

Its same for everyone. You can only see the battery when its about to run out. IN that case a red flashing icon appears on the upper right corner of the screen otherwise there is no indicator for ixus 75.

Canon Ixus 75

1. Make sure you are holding the camera very steady when you take the photo.
2. Try increasing the number of pixels resolution to super fine. If this uses too much memory, invest in a larger capacity memory chip. (The one supplied with the camera has a fairly small capacity.)
3. According to the manual, the "portrait" mode softens faces, but there are other modes you can use.
4. Depth of field is pretty much WYSIWYG . Move back and forth and try with and without optical zoom until it looks right.
