Yamaha dvd S700 would not show burn dvd (non originals) Are there any modification to allow the player to show these dvds?

If it isn't designed to read burned discs there is no way to alter it to do so (they use a different wavelength laser).

The backlight is not shown as a replaceable item only as part of the LCD unit. There is a complication in replacing the screen as the original screen is no longer available and a replacement screen also now involves other modifications beyond the average user I would suggest.

Psr s700 display has been changed colour blue then display is blinking what is the problem

change the whole screen the on capacitor 344 & 544 add resistor with value 2.2k, it will help your keyboard stay longer.

I'VE A YAMAHA PSR S700. The problem is with it's screen. Whenever i start playing, the screen fades and then it comes and it goes and vice versa. This occurs almost two - three days a week. There...

Likely a connection to the backlight is being broken. Tap on the unoit and see if it pops back on. Illuminate screen with a flashlight and see if the characters can be seen when screen is faded. If they can, then the backlight is the problem... IF NOT then the display may be bad... This has been a problem and if you are under warranty, excersise it immediately... else replacement of the display is relatively expensive.

How to connect dvd player to AV reciever

S-Video is a media type that only carries video. Unfortunately the LG unit was designed only to be a self contained surround sound unit. There are only video outputs to the television on this unit. Because of the unit having surround sound capabilities, LG felt that their wasn't a need for audio output. You would need to buy a new DVD player to allow audio from the DVD to your new Yamaha unit. You cleaned the Sensor of that Drive ah , or else remove it and refix Drive in some other IDE and seeit yaar

When i put the dvd, in my screen it presents message 'no disk'

If you scratched the lens or even out a smudge on it, you might have ruined it. Use a Q-tip with nothing on it and gently swirl the lens for about a minute. Hrad to tell if it is just limited to the lens or to the foucus coil assemble as well without seeing it. Never attemot to clean the lens if you are not trained to. Use a CD/DVD lens cleaner if you need to clear a "no disc" error.
