If you remember, and it´s harder than you think, press and hold cancel when you turn the printer on. Wait till it stops coughing and spluttering and the on button light stops flashing and hey presto. No pescy print page

All of a sudden it will not print but as soon as u turn the printer on it prints like a test page

may be you chaged the catridge.
It is not the test page it is alignment test page just put the printed alignment test page paper on scanner glass and press the scan button to complete the process. It is alignment process which is printer is doing for self testing after installing new cartridge. Just finish the process.
Hope this helps. Please rate my response.
Thanks.
Have a good day.

Test printing made every time when the machine (HP PSC 1510) turned on.

Hi,

I used to have the same problem with the 1510 and other HP models. The solution is not to have any paper in the tray when you turn it on. When the error flashes up, hold the cancel/resume button (it will be flashing orange on the printer) until all activity ceases in the printer. You can then cancel the message on the PC and load the paper when you are ready to print.

My HP printer PSC 1510 All-in-One no longer asks me to align my ink cartridges after a change of cartridges. Now, after a system recovery, it prints an alignment page every time I turn it on, whereas...

The only way to stop this is to press the cancel button, just as it tries to print the test page.

Various people have said the printer won't align (calibrate) successfully unless both ink cartridges are more than 50% full, and until it aligns successfully, it will continue to print the test page on start-up.

It is a total waste of ink and paper, so remember to hit the cancel button when you turn it on.

Test Page Printing

Tdragon, Every time you install a new cartridge the printer wants to run an alignment page. If the alignment process is not completed it will print a page every time the printer is turned on. Your manual will describe how to do this procedure; if you don?t have one you can download it here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?lc=en&cc=us&docname=c00473778&dlc=en&product=428800&lang=en& Let us know if this helps and please don?t forget to rate this posting.
