A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download . Chose to download the file in my documents when asked. After downloading, find the file, double click on the file ,then if you get in troubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:
Unplug printer USB.
Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
Follow driver installation wizard.
Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.
Go to http://www.lexmark.com, click on drivers and downloads near the top. Now Click on driver finder. Choose your printer search for model number (lexmark x125). Choose operating system if you do not know try, windows xp, windows 2000 (xp version will work on vista may have to be run as administrator in vista). After downloading right click and run as administrator. Now extract the files and point the windows installer to the folder when it asks for the driver.
Dont plug that printer into your computer without first installing the software. The drivers for that printer can be found at lexmark.com, then choose "Drivers and Downloads" on the top bar. Then type in your printer model number, and choose your operating system. After the installation is complete, you can plug your printer in, and it should find the drivers automaticly.
