Question about KDS Avitron 195TF Monitor

1 Answer

Black screen I'm working on a micronpc Millenia RS 2100 with a KDS Avitron monitor. I think that when I was trying to upgrade this computer from 16 colors to 256 colors, I accidently installed the WRONG driver. Now, the computer boots up, but everything is ALL BLACK. If i do CTRL+ALT+DEL, then the regular close programs box comes up, but it shows no programs running. Any advice on how to get the driver back to the proper one? I can't figure out what to do with nothing on the screen. Thank you for any advice.

I would like to adjust image horizontal/vertical size position. The front button menu does not offer these choices. How do you do it? Thanks

You should have received a driver disc with your monitor. Included with that driver will be a utility program that will allow you to do that. If you do not have the disc then go to the following URL to download it:

The screen vibrates occasionally--just a wiggle--and I think it's about to go kaput. Anything I can do if/when that happens? I thought these old monitors had to be thrown out when they stop working, but...

Anything is fixable for a price. Even though you don't want to here this, the price of repair exceeds the cost of replacement with a newer technology.

Kds model 780 monitor no signal, power button does not work

My monitor does the same thing at times and sometimes shows "No Signal" and at other times the screen will maintain the images but the backgound color switches to mustard yellow. In each of these cases I have been able to solve the problem by unplugging the power cord from the electical outlet for about three seconds and plugging it back in. I have a KDS model 780 LCD.
GOOD LUCK

Faulty display on screen

Your monitor has a fault in the pincushion correction circuit. Most likely a bad solder connection, a failed diode or capacitor. I recommend you have a repair facility fix this one.
