Corrupted data my psp keeps showing corrupted data in the memorycard folder in the psp even after formatting the problem still continues pls help

    my psp 3000 keeps saying corrupted data everytime i try to put a video on it and it also wont enable flash player when it says it is enabled plzzz help me

    i downloaded a movie from the computer and inserted the movie to my psp at the video folder, and when i looked at my psp it showed corrupted data.

If you switch off the power while on autosave, your data will corrupt and no longer exist and still show up. When you format it, the system will not detect the corrupted data. You need to visit a electronics repair cenre to fix it without having to manually format it so it deletes all. Manual formatting is a risk to your PSP's warranty. Good luck anyway.

if it is a disk problem you need a newcopy of the game and should be fine if its a memory card problem, you should try formating the memory card to get rid of the corrupted data and resave the game

well you have to check first in which format teh game is,

psp accpets *iso and *cso formats

the game should be in this format for it to work

if it is in this format then the game iso mite be corrupt, OR

U NEED TO MOD (CRACK) FIRMWARE OF UR PSP TO A MANUAL ONE FOR THE GAME TO WORK.

When I Download Something And I Try To Play It, It Says "That this game cannot be started the data is corrupted"
Hi,
Try these
1) Formatted memory stick (backed up what I wanted).
2) Copied Popsloader V2 (seplugins folder) back to the memory card (root)
3) Reset PSP and entered "Recovery Menu", Then nav to "advance" and formatted "flash1
4) Next enabled "Popsloader" under "Plugins" then exit menu.
5) Copied PSX Eboot to Game directory.
6) Viola it worked!

Memory stick does not work
Connect the memory stick to your PC and format there. If it still fails, it's highly likely that your memory stick needs replacement

There are no games
1.)try to backup first the data in your memory card to your pc,
2.)after copying ,format your memorycard.
3.)then copy the backup files back to the memorycard{copy it folders by folders}

if still doesnt work the memorycard must be infected by a virus. to troubleshoot:
1.)try to rename the GAME folder to game1{if you cant rename it,rightclick the folder then click properties then uncheck the readonly attributes then click apply then OK.}
2.)after renaming the folder,then create a new folder and name it as GAME
3.)then copypaste the game to the newly created folder.

note: 'GAME' folder indicates the folder where all previously game are located.if the previous name of that folder is '3.71GAME' then the newly created folder must be 3.71GAME

this solution do bypassing the unreadable folder done by a virus,i did it before & it solve my psp problem

if your are downloading games in iso format they will not work on version 4.05 you have to downgrade to play those games.any game not put in correct folder will show corrupted data

Psp and getting video output
Hi, my advice would be to make sure you are putting videos that are compatible with psp. In some cases if you try putting a video in a format not compatible with the system the data will appear as corrupted. So, how do you get all videos to the psp.
