I have Bosch hedge trimmer AH15 63-16C which has stopped cutting. It still seems to be working as it should and the cutters moving as normal but suddenly stopped cutting? Just wondering if this is fixable...

This sounds similar to a problem I have with my Bosch AHS 60 24s. The blades are moving but not independantly and therefore not in a cutting action. I took it apart and the bottom blade has slipped off the drive wheel. I put it all back as it should be but as soon as I used it again, the same thing happened. I'm not sure why this is happening, it may be that the motor end of the bottom blade has become slightly bent, so I will be trying to straighten at the weekend. The cost of replacement blades is prohibitive and time for a new hedge trimmer. Has anyone else had this problem and a different solution.

Hedge trimmer won't start. No jam or bend in blade. Battery is re-charged. Just won't start! Reset button isn't doing a thing!

Take the battery off. Now see if you can move the blade. Sometimes the blade can get to a point where it acts as though it will not run. If the blade has moved, reinstall the battery and see if it goes. I had you remove the battery for safety...Lee

Cam does not engage blade

I had this problem with mine. I ended up disassembling the two halves of the trimmer, then reseating the cam. The cam was jammed when I caught the blades on a chain link fence. Good luck and patience.

Long reach hedge trimmer

Try loosening the bolts up on the blades just enough to allow the washers to move freely a little, spray the blades down (but don't soak them ) with WD40 to lubricate the blades, that should solve it. If that doesn't do it then you may need to pull the gear housing cover off to see if something is jammed.
