Sony SNT-V704 I keep have the SNT-V704 locking up and losing video. I am still able to connect to them thru the network, but I am unable to see video on any channel and I am unable to change anything in the programing. It is like they just lock up. They only way to correct the issuse is to go to the site and reset the power no the unit. The network connection is staying good like I said I still can remote into the units.

If your unit keeps crashing this could be a sign of over heating. There is a way to test if it is an overheating issue and that is as the unit is playing use a hot air gun to raise the temperature and trigger the problem once the bad component is found replace it.

Hi there.
I assume that you are connecting wirelessly. The most common problem is that the TV is at the outermost range of the wireless signal from your router/AP. try moving the router/AP closer to the TV. However I would recommend that you use a lan cable rather as this is a more reliable connection. You will also need to check your network settings. To keep the network connection more stable make sure both the TV and media server have static IPs, especially the server.

Need to know what network its locked to

You can try asking the seller from whom you bought the phone.With which network was it working so long?..The phone should be locked with that network only. Once you find to which network your phone is locked to, you can approach the respective network provider or a legit third party unlock provider like Theunlockspot.com and specify the country,locked network of Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. How do I reboot a Sony SNT-V704?

Reset your SNT-V704:

Open it up and press the reset button on the main PCB 5 times while it is on. You can find the reset switch lower right corner when the front facia faces the ground. This worked for me.

I know this is an old question but I haven't found this solution on the net so let me know if it helps anyone.

My ps3 keeps losing playstation network and sometimes can't find a network even though it's showing wi-fi at 100% signal strength.

What you should do is you should buy an Ethernet cable from a shop a shop like staples. Basically what this is is that it is a wire that you have to connect from you console to your modem, which will give you good internet connection and will hopefully work.

I am in search of an installation and user manual for snt-v504 sony video network server

To get the drivers you should always go to the manufacturers website (put the word support in front, i.e - if its hp search google for "support.hp") and you should then find your model number and get the drivers from there.
DO NOT TRUST any program that purports to find your drivers for you or locate missing drivers, always get your drivers from the manufacturers site.
Also, NEVER ever pay for drivers, the manufacturers ALWAYS provide drivers for their products and will never ever charge for the drivers.

If u can get online Playstation Network to the point wer features like adding friends become availible then there shiould be no problem. If you cannot sign in to playstation network then there is a something wrong with your network aettings. If an arror code comes up type into google something like "What does error code *********** on the PS3 mean???". Be specific

Ok well all I can suggest is this... first try a NON-crossover cable.. 2nd.. try the address of 10.1.1.1 The server should be setup according to the manual.. and should be detected upon connection, Also is the server to be set up to ASSIGN an address via it's DCHP or to RECIEVE one from ya lappy? I mean basically it is just a network device that sends stuff when asked, not unlike a networked Hard Drive etc. Usually ya set up the lappy for DHCP and the Video Server gets it's address from the lappy, & when "Polled" sends data to whomever "Polled" it.
