No thats not true...you have to use microsoft active sync or something similiar to add your music to your phone and make it create a playlist. Make sure that you have enough space on your storage card to do so...as it is timely and you don't want to have to start over. Best to do it overnight. it is stupid as i don't know what but a perfectly fine solution.

I can't use my itunes account to add or subtract my music, since adding the gogearVibe. had the same set up approx. 5 months ago with a different unit that worked fine. What happened?

You need to use the Philips songbird software to transfer itunes music into your MP3 player. If your player doesn't use Songbird, you need to first convert it into MP3 format under itunes then transfer using windows media player 11 or higher.

Here is how ot import files from itunes to Songbird:
  1. On the computer, launch the Songbird program. Select Tools > Options
  2. On the Songbird toolbar, select the Media Importer tab, then iTunes Import/Export.
  3. Verify your library location and options. Select Import Library.
  4. The software imports the iTunes library into Songbird.
Once this is done, your itunes music will show in Songbird library. You can now transfer it to your GoGear player. Here is how to transfer files from songbird to your MP3 player:
  1. Click "File" in the toolbar and select "Import Media". Choose the folder that stored your media files.
  2. Select the media files that you want to transfer and then Right Click to display a drop list (You can press and hold the Ctrl button on the keyboard to select more than one file).
  3. Select "Add to Device" and "(Your player model)".
Or you can to go to Songbird library and then drag and drop the files to your MP3 player's icon on the Songbird software.

Hope this helps..

How do i install itunes onto my samsung omnia 2

You cannot directly install iTunes on a Windows based phone - you do have various options, however. You can install iTunes on your PC and download music to your PC and then transfer the tunes to the phone using either file transfer, Windows Media Player or Windows Media Centre, or you could copy the music onto a microSD card and insert that directly into your phone.

Note that if you transfer music from iTunes, you may need to "translate" the file format into WMV or MP3 format befoer transferring it to your phone.

How do i download music from itunes just to play in the media player on my pc

You will need the windows version of iTunes available at the apple site.

http://www.apple.com/itunes/overview/?cid=OAS-US-DOMAINS-itunes.com

You will also need an iTunes store account but the software walks you through setting it up.

The iTunes music comes in as I think an mp4 which doesn't play in Windows Media player. But you can click on the music and export as it an MP3 and that will play in the Windows Media Player.

I am computer illiterate so this may be a long one. I have a Sansa Fuze MP3 Player 8gb Silver. Also I already have a Itunes account and library can I drop library into the Mp3 player or is their a website...

It is my understanding that downloaded iTunes music only works with iPod products. However, you can create your iTunes music into MP3 format in your iTunes library. Your MP3 player should come with the software needed or tell you which application to use (ex. Windows Media Player). After you've created an MP3 version you can import/export into the proper media application then sync to your MP3 player.

Info I found on the web about your MP3 player:

Compatible Formats

The player supports MPEG4 video files and audio files saved in MP3, secure and unsecured WMA, WAV, Audible, and Overdrive file formats.

Simply connect the player to a PC, and start dragging files from your Windows Media Player 10 or 11 applications.

Download to BlackJack II

What format are the itunes songs in? The Blackjack II will read WMA, MP3, and a few others but not itunes format.

The easiest way to get music on the phone is by putting all of the songs onto a memory card (Micro SD) and then put the memory card into the phone.

Download ITUNES to a regular MP3 player.

First off...I'm sorry. This isn't going to be super-simple or automated.

The Insignia MP3 players play MP3 and WMA audio files only (okay...and audio books). If you have a pretty nice collection of unprotected music files that you have purchased from iTunes, then you'll be able to do this conversion.

The Insignia player will not sync with iTunes...the program and the player are not compatable. You do not need to use Windows Media Player to load music on your Insignia player.

Here's the process:

Set your Insignia player to Mass Storage or "File & Folder". This makes it look like another drive to the computer.

Open iTunes.

Navigate to the Options or Preferences area (it's different depending on whether you use a Mac or a PC), select the BURN tab and set the file format to MP3 and the quality rating you desire (I suggest either 128kb or 192kb).

Select the songs you want to put on your player.

Tell iTunes to "Conver to MP3" the songs you have selected.

Once these files are copied as MP3s, Navigate to the iTunes folder (should be in My Documents/My Music/iTunes). I reccommend placing a shortcut to your iTunes folder on your desktop for future use.

Drag and Drop your music files to your Insignia player.

You're good to go. Unplug the Insignia player and enjoy!
