Can't get the menu tools to work.

Hi,

Do you have the layer highlighted in Layer panel?
If the layer is not selected the blur does not work.
So check your setting.

Solves the question 7 years later!

Probably more helpful for others due to the age of the post, but I just bought a used LeMond G-Force RT recumbent bike that had this same issue. It was acting like it couldn't register that the pedals were moving. You do need a special tool to remove the cranks. Some version of the this tool: Park Tool CCP-22 Crank Puller. Once I got the covers off I found that the adhesive that held the magnets in place on the flywheel (used to tell the sensor it was moving) had dried up and the magnets where no longer in place. They had actually come out of their housing and were stuck to the frame of the bike. After gluing them back in place everything worked again. I hope this helps someone who is facing the same issue on this or a similar exercise bike!

How was it programmed ? Was a scan tool used ?
Program All Key Fobs
To complete this programming operation, all keyless entry transmitters associated with the vehicle must be available for programming. Once placed into program mode, all previously programmed transmitters will be erased from memory upon the receipt of the programming signal from the first transmitter.

1. Close the lift gate.
2. Ignition ON, access the scan tool Lift gate Module Setup menu and select Program All Key Fobs.
3. Follow the scan tool on screen instructions in order to program the transmitters. Select "Start" on the scan tool to enter the program mode.
4. As each transmitter is successfully programmed, the scan tool will show how many transmitters have been placed into memory.
5. When all transmitters are programmed, exit the program mode by selecting "Stop" on the scan tool. The vehicle will not respond to the transmitters until the program mode is exited.
6. Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.

Program Individual Key Fob
If there are less than four keyless entry transmitters programmed to the vehicle, an individual fob transmitter can be added. This method will not erase previously programmed transmitters from memory.

1. Close the lift gate.
2. Ignition ON, access the scan tool Lift gate Module Setup menu and select Program Individual Key Fob.
3. Select "Program additional Key Fob" on the scan tool.
4. Follow the scan tool on screen instructions in order to program the transmitter.
5. Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.

You need a freewheel/cassette removal tool. My usual method is to remove the quick release skewer, place the tool on the freewheel/cassette, put the skewer back on to hold the tool in place (skewer should be just a little loose). Put the tool side of the wheel down and clamp it in a vise. Then grab the wheel with your hands and twist it sharply (not slow and steady) counter-clockwise. Hi. When parts of the subject are moving it is normal for the subject to tend to be be blurred in those places. Blurring is minimised if you take pictures in bright light because the 'exposure' (the time needed for the sensor to collect enough light to take the picture) is less. Also the 'sensitivity' of the sensor can be increased by reducing the ISO setting in the menu so that the sensor needs less time to take the picture. However ISO settings higher than 200 tend to more and more make the image a bit blotchy. The 'aperture' is also relevant and F2 (wide open) lets in more light than say F5.6 (narrower), so helps to reduce blurring too. Mainly you rely on bright light to minimise blurring if the subject moves, but there is also a 'sports' scene mode which might help. Indoors, you more often need to use Flash to get a good picture by providing more light, but flash does not usually reach far enough to have much effect out of doors, unless the subject is close by. In 'auto' mode the settings look after themselves but have a good look at the Instruction Manual and experiment with 'manual' settings to find out how the camera works and read a few beginner's aricles to make things more interesting. Most of all have fun! Regards

Open your PageMaker file, click "File" on the menu, select "Place" and browse the picture, when it's located, click "Open". Alternatively you can simply press Ctrl+D on the keyboard or you can also click the "Place" button the the tool bar as show below;


Once you click "Open", you mouse cursor will look different i.e. like a
Clip/button of a photo album, now click and drag your mouse to place/insert and adjust the size of the photo/picture.

Bad Driver.

Follow the instructions below and it will work.

Disconnect the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program.

When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.

Then to use it on the Web, do this.
Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the
camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.

Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function
properly.


A. Skype Setup:

After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/) set it up as follows:

1. Go to Tools, then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and
Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
2. Then click on the Video Settings.
3. The camera if Installed Properly will come up and show a video picture.
4. Then, on the bottom of the page click on Save.

The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now be able to
see and her to you.

B. Yahoo Setup:

After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger

set it up as follows:

1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the
computer Audio Card.
4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call
setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.

C. Windows Live Messenger:

1. After you start Windows Live Messenger, expand the view by clicking on the square on
top left next to the red X.
2. Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the right side, click on “ “Show Menus.”
And then click on “Show the Menu Bar”.
3. Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on “ “Action.”
4. Go to “TOOLS” and click “Audio and Video Setting” and follow the instructions.
NOTE: Your audio and video should work. Enjoy.

When done both the Audio and Video will function properly so you can chat and see family or
friends you are connected to.

D. AIM (AOL) Messenger

1. On the VIM sign-in window click on Edit.
2. Then click on Settings Enhanced IM.
3. Next click on Enhanced IM.
4. Then click on Audio Video.
5. The Audio and Video portion has drop downs so you can select the proper audio card and
video camera installed in you computer.

Adjust Your Audio and Video Settings:
In order to adjust your audio and video settings, please follow the steps given below:
1. Click the Audio and Video Settings button directly below the My Buddy or My Camera window.

Step 1
In this tutorial I used a random picture I picked up from sxc.hu.You can use the same image or another one, it is up to you. Open it in Photoshop

Step 2
Now in the layer pallet grab the background image and drag it to the Create a new layer button. Once you have done this press P which is your Pen Tool and make sure you have set the pen to paths at the top of the page. Now draw a rough outline of the people like the picture below and once finished click your right mouse button and goto Make Selection and click ok.

Now press Ctrl and C and once you have done that press Ctrl and V. You have created a new layor of that image. Name this layer (People).
Step 3
Now click on the layer called Background copy and goto Layer/New Adjustment layer/Brightness and Contrast and set it to Brightness +29 and Contrast +39. Now goto Layer/New Adjustment layer/Black And White and click ok on the menu. Now drag these 2 layers above all other layers. You should have something like the image below.

Step 4
Click on the (People) layer and press P which is the Pen Tool and draw very carefully round the male in the middle and dont forget to get his shadow also. Once you have done this right click on your mouse and goto Make Selection. Now press Ctrl and C and then press delete on your keypad and Then Press Ctrl and V. Now call the new layer (Man) and drag it to the top of all layers.

Final Step
Ok final step. Now click on the Peoples layer and goto Filter/Blur/Motion Blur and set it to Angle 17 and Distance 25px. And all is done.

Check to see if your camera is in Macro mode. This may cause blur. Also hit your function/set button to see if it is in digital macro mode.

Make sure your lens is clean.

Make sure you are set to automatic mode and zoomed all the way out. There are several things that may cause blur, the most of which is camera shake. Make sure your Image Stabilization is turned on. If it is, you will see a little hand in the bottom right corner of the LCD screen.

If it's not on, turn it on in the setup (tools) menu.

If your shutter speed is slow, this will cause image blur, but in auto mode, you won't have to worry about the shutter speed, it will be set automatically.

Photoshop has many kinds of tool to make copy (or cut) and paste, such as magic wand, pen, lasoo, etc. For simple cut & paste, use the simple selection tool, see my picture the left arrow. Click on it then make the selection on the picture you want to copy/cut. Then click copy (or cut) and put your cursor in the place you want to paste --> click paste.
Slice tool is more for making webpage, not for cut and paste.
For detail, you can click "help" menu in the Photoshop.
