Have you tried going to main menu and restoring factory defalts? (if possible)

I cant't get bbc iplayer to play programmes: it comes up with: task queue failed at step 0: config empty. ITV player works perfectly but I prefer programmes from BBC. What can I do to solve this...

I have installed with BBC iPlayer on kodi using this https://www.kodivpn.co/bbc-iplayer-kodi/ guide hope it helps.

auto scan for the channels and you'll find channel 853 itv audio description will now work! channel 4 is now 854!!

your tv is only hd ready you need a hd Receiver to watch hd programes (sky hd )

There is not a problem with the TV despite it's age this is can be due to your reception of the digital package for BBC. Have you checked through he full listings? sometimes the BBC channel will be at a different number setting because of the transmitter you are receiving. I assume you are using a digital box, you can enter a menu which will give you an indication of the strength & quality of the incoming signal. Do you pick up some of the other BBC channels such as BBC3 or CBBC? It's possible your aerial strength is a bit weak for the digital BBC package & you may need to have that looked at.

Satellite works fine in the day but no signal in

I have run into this problem a couple of times, once a loose connection at the LNB, other times it has been due to moisture build up (dew) in the loose connections, check all connections from the LNB through the tuner, and any other devices involved (a line map maybe?) that will most likely resolve the problem.

After an electrical storm last night we have lost ITV, Ch 4 etc on Digital, BBC and Sky on freeview are fine. All analogus signals are of very poor quality. Any ideas please?

Electrical Storm normally damage Tuner in TV.
Symptoms in tv like poor analog tv signal reception shows replace TV Tuner.

No so-called 'universal' remote will give you all the functions found on the original.
Your Symphyoinc is made by Funai who now owns the name rights in the US.
Try any codes you might have for the Funai name.
In addition:
I wish someone would bring a suit against any of these manufacturers using the term 'universal.'
At best, they are 'multibrand' and, with the proliferation of 'brands,' there never will be one that can rightfully claim to be 'universal.'
There may never be a code for your brand available in every remote.

i have a a goodmans gdvdr319 but i lost the remote for it got a one for all remote urc-3426 and i have put in some code in but stikl not work
