Paper light My printer has paper in the drawer, but the red light indicating no paper is still on and the printer won't print. There was a jam, but I cleared it. I know that was taken care of, but is it possible that I somehow damaged the printer while clearing it? And if so, what can I do?

My sp210 ricoh printer is blinking red lite of middle one marked (!) and not excepting the print command what to do

It means, there is a paper jam. Delete the print jobs in the computer's print queue or disconnect the communication cable (USB or LAN). This is to stop the printer trying to execute print commands. Turn off the printer. Pull the paper drawer and check for a stuck sheet. Remove carefully if any. Open front and rear covers, pull out the toner cartridge and inspect for stuck paper in the paper path. Remove if any. Close the covers, put back the paper drawer and turn on the printer. See if the red light is gone. If not, there still may be some piece of paper or misplaced/broken sensor. If looks normal, reconnect the cable/try printing again and listen if the printer tries to pick up paper. If yes, but red light comes again, then the pick-up roller needs cleaning/replacing. If not, check if the paper size in your document matches the one loaded and set up in the printer. The printer may be waiting for different paper size.

Two red lights blinking

The flashing red light next to a page and bin indicates paper or a CD/DVD has jammed in the printer.

The flashing red light next to the drop indicates that the ink is low - if it is solid on then the ink is out.

Both of these lights flashing rapidly together means taht the print head carriage is obstructed by jammed paper or some other material and cannot return to the home position. Turn off the printer then open the paper support and the printer cover. Then remove any paper or other obstructions from the paper path by hand / tweezers. Then, turn the printer back on and the fault should clear. If the lights are stioll flashing then check the paper path again and see if the print head carriage assembly is jammed by gently moving it very slightly along the carriage. Don't force this or do this too hard or too far as you can cause some damage to the drive

Paper keeps jamming

My husband and I found that if you hold down the red lever to the left of the paper drawer, you can get the unit to print. Something about the paper roller not coming down to pull the paper into the machine is why it keeps jamming. Good luck
