About every 5th load of laundry the spin cycle, prior to finishing, will not go into spin. The machine rinses and then just sits there as if it is waiting on a signal to begin spinning. Once the time period for the spin cycle completes the washer then stops. What should I look for as a cause and possible solution
The problem sound like the timer contacts are stuck try tapping the timer while it is stopped and see if it kicks in to spin let me know if this works
I have same problem where everything works but do not go into spin? I cleaned pump filter area and removed everything was there. I was told it could be carbon brush because it is seven year old machine and the problem remain same. Yes i would try timer by tapping around to see if it works and i did try that, it did not work so any sugestion here for me thanks.

I have the same problem. My machine is about 4 yrs old and it dose everything but go into the spin cycle. I don't believe it is a stuck contact on the timer. If anyone can email me with a fix on this problem please do. I called a repair person and they want 75.00 Bucks just to walk in the door. If I could find a good brake down on this machine I could probably make the repairs myself.
Thanks
