When hitting the scan button, I get this message JPN:unable to locate the application. Please try reinstalling the application. I have reinstalled it and I'm still getting this message

    BIG THANKS to Mark. He found that 2 things which we have not isolated but work. 1.Uninstall Adobe DC and then 2. repair Adobe Acrobat Pro (found in the software). We then installed DC back, reboot, and the scan button worked the way it should have.

I have no answer. I have the same issue going on over here. Mine is a Fujitsu Desktop Scanner fi-7160 and am trying to press the scanner button for it to be scanned automatically into Adobe Acrobat 9

Scanning problem

Try if the Scan feature from the application software is working. In case the scan is working from the application, it is not a problem with printer.
Alternately, you can try the same from system tray (or in device manager >> Printer)
In case the any of the above fails, uninstall and reinstall the printer

Uninstall Button manager, if you get a message telling you that it is in use, go to task manager, processes tab, click on btnman.exe then end task.

Re-install the application.

Sounds like a corrupt driver / software install. Try reinstalling the drivers and application software from the disc you got along with the printer.

Please check the location where the file saved by your Scanner and note down its size.

Also as you mentioned in your next reply, you need to go for check Device manager. Reinstall the drivers.

Window xp will not start

Hi

Problem is because of virus please install any good anti virus i.e. Eset nod 32, kaspersky or bitdefender....etc. after you install anti virus update it an scan your system problem will be solved.
