Clean the hard water scale and mineral depsosits with vinegar. Fill resvoir with white vinegar. 30 seconds ON, 5 minutes OFF, repeat until resevoir is empty. Repeat the process until all the deposits are dissolved. Should work like new.
I use a quarter cup of white vinegar and the rest water. do it just like making coffee but don't put grounds in it. then run several pots of water through to rinse it out.
