When you buy a new Creative NOMAD MuVo, the flash drive comes with some files, if you have the original installation disk, I think tha you can restore that files and the player will works.

I have the same problem, but I lost the instalation Files and my Muvo does not have the files on it.

I have an acer iconia A500 tablet but get no sound coming from the speakers only when headphones are connected how do I get sound back coming from speakers without using headphones

The headphone jack needs to be replaced. Sound gets switched from speakers to headphone there. When the headphone plug is removed from the tablet the connection inside the jack is lost.

My mitsubishi tv has a phone jack looking plug then a anntena plug part , how do i hook up a dvd player to it

it could be an HDMI port for connecting HDMI cable. If your DVD player has HDMI output then you can connect it.

or it could be a usb port for playing videos from usb devices like pen drives and portable hard disks

i dont think tv has a phone jack

My flash drive isnt being detected and the light isnt coming on

The problem is going to be either one or the other: A bad USB controller or jack in the computer or, a bad flash drive.

Try connecting the flash drive to all the other USB jacks on the computer - if it still fails, try a different computer completely. If it works on a different computer, it indicates that the controller in the first computer has failed and is likely that all the USB jacks on it will not work. If the flash drive works on some USB jacks and not others, it indicates a problem with that particular jack. You should mark the jack as defective and either discontinue its use - or purchase a USB expansion card for the computer with support for internal USB jacks and disconnect the leads of bad jack from the motherboard and reconnect to the expansion card instead.

If the flash drive does not work in any USB jack, I'd be willing to bet that its useful life has come to an end. The data on it, if still intact, is likely to remain there with no way of being accessed. You should completely destroy the flash drive before throwing it away.

My magic jack could not work with my vista home premium desk top computer

In what way would it not work?
You may have a faulty USB port or may be disabled in the system BIOS. Check for USB port functionality first since magic jack uses the USB port.
Get ahold of a flash-drive and see if the flash drive works in the port. You may have a faulty magic jack device if nothing else.

Left side quit working, not earbuds, i tried other sets

I had the same problem. the stereo mini jack connection to the circuit board of the mp3 player is broken or loose. I jiggled the jack around and the sound came back into both ears but that only worked for a little while and is annoying. Basically, unless you can re-solder the mini jack to the circuit board, or get someone to do it for you, your player is now just a flash drive.

My computer doesn't recognice the MagicJack

Magic Jack reserves the first empty drive letter number after your hard drive letters. The problem is that it cannot share this drive letter with a flash drive -- in that when Magic Jack is out, some newer flash drives (such as 4GB Kingstone DataTraveller) cannot claim the same letter, and therefore the flash drive does not work. The reverse is true also in some cases too. if you plug in an older flash drive that uses say letter G when G had been previously claimed by Magic Jack, and you click on the Magic Jack icon (tha references G at this time) the Majic Jack stops working on that PC for good. This seems to have come up recently (late June 2009) withthe Magic Jack's new software update. The annoying beeps also have been introduced with this update. Somthing enters digits into Magic Jackphone number dialing buffer that looks like a memory leak from another part of the computer RAM due to poorly written drivers or invalid shared interrupts or DMA regions.

Coby MP3 MPC882

Ok people the problome is in the head phone jack. It don't make proper conection any more from being twisted and wiggled around all the time. What you can do is take the mp3 apart and put a little pice of paper and fold it upon top of the head phone jack and put it back together. Make sure that the paper is still thick enough to push down on the jack. You might have to get two extra screws of the longer two types. just in case. Any comments e mail me at: [email protected]
