howdy, this happens from time to time with the best of them; press and hold down the power button for a second or two until it turns off. If this does not work (rare) then remove the battery for a few seconds and replace. Tahdah!
You essentially have to reset the GPS. You can do this by holding the power button down for at least four seconds to get the Tom Tom to fully shutdown. You will know you successfully did this if you hear the tom tom sound and a warning message appears during startup. It then seems to work just fine after that.
I am running into the same exact issue. I have had my Sportster about 14 months now and this is the first problem I've encountered.
We had a cold night in the low 20s and the next morning the Sportster started in with these issues. It's been two weeks now and I have the same exact issues (have power, all connections in tact, no "no signal" message, etc.).
Sirius recommended a factory reset through the menu option. I was able to do that, but the problem was not corrected.
If anyone has any advice here, please let us know.....
