I have had 3 radios installed at different intervals from march 08- until august 13 i have noticed a lot of static at intervals this happened while the vehicle was under warrantry & is still the same need a different brand of radio this one is not good my car is a mitubishi lancer vrx 08 model

Reset the day in the settings. My guess is that you are in the wrong year.

has to do with the electrons in the air waves . Have you noticed that when you are near businesses with flourecent lights you pick up a lot of static? A traffic light may change and the electrical impulses from the change can be heard in your radio.It could also be the vehicle you are driving .Are you using a cigarette lighter plug which will give you static also . Do you have a noise blanker switch on the radio ? if yes make sure it is on and an A N L switch ,make sure it is on .

what time of day are we talking here? usually skip is so heavy from 0800 until 1600 that no radio has a chance of transmitting or receiving.If you turn the squelch the other way what does it do?

Your 28 days holiday is free holidays (assuming you have not including predetermined holidays - i.e public holidays)

28 days divide by 12 months = 2.333 days

Your holiday year cannot be April to April as this is 13 months - so I have assumed it is April to March, or it could be May to April - This will affect how many holidays you have earnt upto August.

Multliply the 2.33 days per month by the number of months until your holiday in August. The calculation your employer is using may take into account you have to earn full days by the end of the month before you take a holiday.

2.33 days X 4 months to end of July = 9 days
2.33 days X 5 months to end of August - 11 days.

You may have to exclude the public holidays if this is included in your annual allowance
