When I tried to upload a Picture in FB, it won't display any picture.. With a message .... Your computer detected a USB cord and locked your phone for storage. Please disconnect the cord to see your photos. I have already removed my usb cord but it still displays that message.. Please help me with this..

you may sort it by taking out the battery and putting back in again, or go to settings and select factory/reset default which will erase all settings to when you purchased it.

take the battery out and insert slide SIM card in. direction should be shown (it goes right underneath where the sdcard should be).
SOURCE: cannot connect LG U990 phone to the computer
Hi
I have finally tracked down the reason MY U990 would not connect (in data service )
It seems if you have more than 3 sub menus open it will NOT connect....
To fix this go to the ‘multitask’ icon in the top right hand corner of the screen.(the icon is a 3x3 grid with the top right hand square larger than the rest and coloured blue) I found by clicking on the items listed I was able to reduce the list to 2.
Hey presto connects just fine.

when you plug in connect the phone via the usb cord a window should pop up asking if you want to view the folder. select this option. when you click it, you should see four folders. dcim, music, email, bluetooth. click on dcim. your videos should be stored in this folder. just click and drag them into whichever folder on your pc you want them in. or, when you connect your phone it will give you four options. transfer music, mass storage, phone as modem, pict bridge. select transfer music. this should make the previously mentioned window pop up and you can follow my instructions from there. or, if you have you videos stored in the 'in phone' part of your phones memory you need to move them to your 'memory card' memory. just select 'options', then 'move'.

The only way you can restart the phone is to remove the battery and then after that the phone should be back to its working state....
