Copies are printing out a completely black page

If the Collate check box is not selected, then each page will be printed for all the copies selected before the next page of the document is printed."

Check your paper tray settings under system settings/paper tray settings. You can also try turning off auto image.

it is normal, just mixing, continue printing, it will slowly cover the page till the entire page is printed or copied, dont worry, just reuse the half printed paper till when the pages print complete.

Follow these steps to change print settings, and then print in Mac OS X 10.6. Step one: Select your product

1. In the program from which you want to print, click File , and then click Print . Figure 11: Click File, and then click Print
2. Select your product from the Printer: drop-down list.

Step two: Change print settings

1. Type the number of copies to print in the Copies text box.
2. If you want to print multiple copies, select the Collated check box to print the pages of each copy in order.
3. Select the pages of the print job that you want to print. To print all pages, select All. To print a specific range of pages only, type the page number that begins the page range in the From text box. Then, type the page number that ends the page range in the To text box.
4. Select the size and type of paper loaded in the product from the Paper Size drop-down list.
5. Select the orientation for your print job. To print in portrait orientation, click the icon on the left. To print in landscape orientation, click the icon on the right.

Step three: Change the paper type and quality settings

1. After the Orientation section, click the drop-down, and then select Paper Type/Quality . NOTE: This drop-down usually defaults to the program specific drop-down. In this example, the drop-down is the TextEdit drop-down. Figure 12: Select Paper Type/Quality
2. Adjust the Paper Type setting to match the paper loaded in the product.
3. Adjust the Quality setting to change the print quality of the printed page.
4. Select Print Borderless to print photos without a white border.

Step five: Print the print job After all the settings match the needs of the print job, click Print on the Print window to print the document or print job.

By using the Duplex button on your machine, you can set the machine to
print copies on both sides of paper.
1 Press Duplex.
2 Load originals face up in the ADF.
3 Press the Scroll buttons until the binding option you want appears.
• Off: Prints in Normal mode.
• 1->2Side Short: Prints pages to be read by flipping like a note
pad.
• 1->2Side Long: Prints pages to be read like a book.
• 2->1Side: Scans both sides of the original and prints each of them
on separate two papers. (SCX-6322DN only)
• 2->2Side: Scans both sides of the original and prints them on both
sides of a paper, this function produce exactly the same print out
from the original. (SCX-6322DN only)
• 2->1Side Rotate2: Scans both sides of the original and prints one
of them on separate two papers, but the information on back side
of the original is printed 180° rotated. (SCX-6322DN only)
4 Press OK to save your selection.
If the mode is enabled, the Duplex button is backlit.

Collation

You can set the machine to sort the copy job. For
example, if you make 2 copies of a 3 page original,
one complete 3 page document will print followed by a
second complete document.
1 Press Copy.
2 Load originals face up into the ADF.
For details about loading an original, see
page 5.1.
3 Enter the number of copies using the number
keypad.
4 Press Menu until Copy Feature appears on the
bottom line of the display and press OK.
5 Press OK when Copy Collation appears.
6 Press the Scroll buttons to select Yes.
7 Press OK or Start to begin copying.
One complete document will print

hello it sounds like you need to have the scannetr replaced

101:Total black copies and printed pages
103:Total A3 black copies and printed pages
201:Total A4 black copies
203:Total A3 black copies

check the properties and page settings before you print you may find your page settings are incorrect to what you want. Set to all pages, make sure print colour documents black is unckecked, make sure no other settings are telling it to print other than what you want. Post back if no good.

Click Start - All programs - HP - HP Director/Solution center

Click Settings - Print settings - Printer settings

Click on the Colors. In Color Management select "Managed by Application". Click Apply and OK. Close HP Director/Solution center.
Try printing.
