I have an Audiovox PNP3 Sirius sattelite receiver that has a back light that works only rarely. Any hints on how to fix it?

Mine constantly shows s seek alert. Then I lose the audio. It just started a month ago.

Same backlight problem on my JVC KT-SR3000. Started flickering, then failed completey. No model look up or parts available on JVC's website. Looks like this is a throw-away unit.

Recently my Audiovox XMCK 10A receiver's backlight started to fade and then goes completely out. After I take it out of the docking station for several minutes or leave the car off along with the receiver it will again display, sometimes for several minutes before again going out. I can't find this problem or solution in the users guide. Is there a battery or bulb you can replace?

I contacted Audiovox and they had me send the unit back free of shipping charges and honored my warranty plus a 30 day grace period. They seemed confident they would either fix it or replace it.

There's a "Memo" button on your PNP. If you pressed it when it was on Sirus/Sirius then it would beep a couple times a minute most likely. Try this: Press and hold the Memo button, and it will bring up a list of songs that you stored for song seek. Then you can go through them one by one and decide if you want to delete it. Use the round knob to scroll through the list, and press the knob to select it. It will give you an option to Delete it and you can go from there.
