Same backlight problem on my JVC KT-SR3000. Started flickering, then failed completey. No model look up or parts available on JVC's website. Looks like this is a throw-away unit.Same backlight problem on my JVC KT-SR3000. Started flickering, then failed completey. No model look up or parts available on JVC's website. Recently my Audiovox XMCK 10A receiver's backlight started to fade and then goes completely out. After I take it out of the docking station for several minutes or leave the car off along with the receiver it will again display, sometimes for several minutes before again going out. I can't find this problem or solution in the users guide. Is there a battery or bulb you can replace?

I contacted Audiovox and they had me send the unit back free of shipping charges and honored my warranty plus a 30 day grace period. There's a "Memo" button on your PNP. If you pressed it when it was on Sirus/Sirius then it would beep a couple times a minute most likely. Try this: Press and hold the Memo button, and it will bring up a list of songs that you stored for song seek. Then you can go through them one by one and decide if you want to delete it. Use the round knob to scroll through the list, and press the knob to select it. It will give you an option to Delete it and you can go from there.

Check the ground for the backup light-I'll bet it shares a ground with the interior lights. When you put it in reverse,it is feeding 12v to one side of the bulb, and instead of going through the bulb to a ground,it is seeking a ground elsewhere(through the interior light). The lights are dim because it has created a series circuit,so the bulbs are running at a lower voltage.
that code usually is either for the tpms reset, or a satelite transmission reciever number, it will either reset the tire pressure monitor system, or enable you to recieve satelite redio servive with a subscription. hope this helps
When you mentioned blank does it have light on. If not check the filter for cloggging as the heat build up on the lamp can trigger a stop. Use a good forced cooling to confirm.
If the picture is clear and there is no illumination issues the bulb must be good and the issue may be power based.
If the main power supply can be cooled off , does the fault apppear, if so check the soldering of the power supply.
unless all this is confirmed the problem of the suspected bulb can stay.
To regain connection back to th satelite, first remove it and reinstall it back, if it does not connect still, then you have to update the tom tom reciever by connecting it to a computer, remove all the maps on it, the update it from the home website.
After updating, upload the new maps back on it, the you connect it to the car system, after doing this, then you try to use it. If it does the same, then it is due to a poor signal in the area that the gps in not connecting to the satelite.
Hello check the cable box connections to see what type of connection you are using for television, if you are watching in HD then you might of changed the video input or source button was hit by mistake.
hook up the cable box to component # 1 or hdmi 1 and the satelite reciever to component # 2. i'm not sure if this model has 2 hdmi inputs, but you can also hook the satelite reciever to hdmi 2 if it does.
I assume Dream Satellite was charging you for the use of the receiver. At any rate you will need a valid SMART card that is activated by Dream. I assume that you did not cancel your subscription also. If this happened only after the new receiver was installed you could have a bad receiver but more than likely the SMART card is the issue. Contact Dream and see if they can send you an updated one.
This could be an unshielded cable problem. Also magnetisam from speaker(s)(i.e. subwoofer) could affect signal from satelite antenna, or could affect satelite receiver if it's near.
