  • Click Start and then click Printers and Faxes to open the Printers folder.
  • If the desired printer icon is missing, please go to Step two.
  • Make sure the desired printer has a check mark next to it which indicates it is set as the default printer.
  • If the desired printer does not have a check mark next to it, right-click the printer icon and then click "Set as Default Printer".
  • Right-click the printer icon, and then click Print Test Page to print a Windows self-test page.
  • If the Windows test page prints successfully, close all windows and try printing from the application you were using before.

SOURCE: Canon BJ-30 Bubble jet printer F-12 error

Hi, According to my BJ-30 & BJC-70 user manual, if F12 is blinking, it is required for this Error code to get in touch with a Canon Service Centre. I had this in the past and being curious I removed the printer chassis from case the and found the problem to be a loose ribbon cable in the connector on the main board from the touch pad circut board . I also had the identical problem with my BJC-70. These printers are very reliable and compact, it seems to be a problem which I think comes about from these printers being so portable. It took me about 15 minutes to fix the problem for which I have made a small modification to hold the cable in place. Having said this, it may not necessarly be your problem but it is a starting point. Canon to my mind have not made another portable printer this good, so if you value it and can find a trustworthy technician get it fixed. If you want further info contact me here.

SOURCE: Canon MP830 error code 6A00

HI,

Please the pixma off and open the lid.Now manually slide the cartridge-tray to the left.

Use a piece of tissue to clean the base-pad where the heads are stored.See if it is stuck in a kind of upward position and look if the mechanism that moves the tray is released if not then touch it and it will be loose. Remove all ink residue, move the tray back to its most right position and close everything.

Let me know if you still get the same error.

Thank you

Canon Pixma mg5250 printer with B200 error Code

Canon Printer Error Code B200 typically means that your printer head is gone. You don't have to think about this failure you can correct this error by reinstalling or reloading the printer engine. The printer driver can be compromised and patched by downloading the upgraded version of the printer driver.

Canon Printer Error B200 failure means Print Head is gone!

If you going to the purchasing of a new printer, I would recommend some troubleshooting

Replace all of the printer ink cartridges and reinstall it now.
Disable Print Head and clear up all contacts on the print head

Bear in mind that all the print head cleans it by flushing out all the ink under hot water.

Check and activate the printer driver since some of the cases have corrupted the printer driver and display B200 Error

Disconnecting wire connection and after a while, you can plug cable wire

Restart the printer

Again, this problem occurs, and then some technical solution is required. You should refer to the Canon Printer team of specialists. They're trying to fix your issue at a time

Canon PIXMA MP530 All-In-One InkJet Printer Canon mp530 error 6a00

The 6A00 is a Canon generic code for paper path jam. Some where in the paper path a sensor is activated indicating paper jam so the printer will give off a 6A00 code.
Clear a purge unit if its jammed with paper, paper clips, push pins, screws, cookie crisp, flower bud pods or the like

Error code says 5c00 on my canon pixma mp500 printer. cant find my manual to figure out what the code means

The error code 5c00 usually means that there is a paper jam or paper path restriction.
If the path is not restricted, the printer will need servicing.

Canon printer S200SPx error code 5600

The user manual does not talk about specific error codes. From other forum I belong to, it looks like it may be a bad printhead. If that is it, Canon says to call support. I suspect the cost of a new printhead would be more than the printer is worth.
