The best option is to order online. I have found a site that sells parts and this might help you. Follow this link: http://www.vacpartswarehouse.com/Hoover-U5242-s/1389.htm then go through the list and select the last number 13 within the list which is the actual hose. It will require that you provide information as this part is rarely ordered as it says when I did a check. I hope this resolves your issue

Where can I buy parts for a Kalorik bagless vacuum cleaner? It looks like the model pictured above, but the # on the manual is USK VC2.

Kalorik ' Parts and Accessories ' Discontinued ' item VC16107

Here is their site, it looks like the canister vacuum is discontinued.
If this is not adequate information, you can find several contact options on this page.

Hole in hose

according to the schematic it doesnt look like you can take that coupling apart. Usually when one has a problem with an electric canister hose its just easier to replace the hose because trying to shorten it without damaging the internal electrical wires and reassembling with the hose working is very unlikely. the hose part # is 43433113. you might have a hard time finding it tho. that hose was discontinued on 1/09 (same time that dirt devil bought out hoover and moved them over to china.) if you need anything else feel free to let me know.

I have a torn hose on my Samsung Quiet Storm should I try to repair or toss it. Mfg no longer makes replacement hose

The early hose on these was prone to tearing. If you are careful you can shorten it once. Beyond that it will become too short to use on the vac properly. This hose was copied from the original Black and Decker hose and power head kit and was likely upgraded by a flex vinyl molded hose which should be more resistant to tearing.
Some vac shops carry hose "refills" and a Samsung dealer may have one in stock even if the hose was discontinued. The vac is good quality in its general design and worth fixing although the original diameter of this hose may be tough to match

Need to clean hose.

I filled a bowl with hot bleach water and sucked the water up. It cleaned the hose pretty well (along with the gunk that was stuck in the hand wand). Mine was filthy. It looked like it had mold growing in it. Then I ran several rounds of hot water through the hose. I alternated hot water & bleach. Did this about 8 times. It is not perfect, but it sure does look a lot better. 90% of the gunk is gone.

ELECTROLUX OLYMPIA ONE HOSE

Usually the older hose get replaced, they just weren't made to be repaired, if it looks like something that will come off, then try either warming the sleeve up with hot water or a hair drier to see if you can work it off after it has warmed up.
