Same problem w yellow on viewsonic pj550

Very frustrating: blues are very green, gray is yellow etc. nothing is effected by color adjustment. Appears to be strong yellow dominance.

Yellow is the mixture of 100% red and 100% green. what you may have here is a blue LCD failure in the machine. Try this to check. Open up PAINT and double click one of the colors on the bottom. now click add custom color. then in the RGB section put 0 for red 0 for green and 255 for blue. ok out of everything and fill the background w/ the blue. it should be a VERY intense blue, if its white or or kinda blue, you have an LCD issue

I hav a 95 berrta and im tying to put a head unit

Hello chrisuftring,

Here's a link to the wiring color code for the '95 Chevy Beretta.

You'll need to match the function of each wire from your head unit and the color code for that would be in your manual. Most aftermarket units are somewhat standard as far as power, accessory, ground, and speaker connections are concerned. But the wiring colors may be different for such leads as remote, power antenna, illumination, dimmer, and muting.

An Alpine head unit has the following wiring colors:
Blue - Power Antenna
Blue/White - Remote
Pink/Black - Audio Interrupt (muting)
Orange - Illumination
Red- Switched 12V+
Yellow - Constant 12V+
Black - Ground
Gray - RF Speaker (+)
Gray/Black - RF Speaker (-)
White - LF Speaker (+)
White/Black LF Speaker (-)
Violet - RR Speaker (+)
Violet/Black RR Speaker (-)
Green - LR Speaker (+)
Green/Black - LR Speaker (-)

With this head unit, you would wire Yellow to Orange, Red to Yellow, Black to Black, Orange to Gray, Blue to Pink, Gray to Light Green, Gray/Black to Dark Green, White to Tan, White/Black to Gray, Violet to Dark Blue, Violet/Black to Light Blue, Green to Brown, and Green/Black to Yellow.

Note that there are 2 "yellow" wires in your vehicle color code. You'll have to test them to determine which one is the accessory wire and which one goes to the left rear speaker. Using a 12V "test light" is the simplest. Connect one side of the light to ground. With the ignition ON probe the yellow wires. One of them should light the tester, the other one won't. Verify that the light goes out when the ignition is OFF and your have separated the redundant "yellows". The one that lit the tester is your 12V+ switched wire and the other one goes to the left rear speaker.

Hope this helps.

Suburu radio wire harness. trying to match up with a new soni deck

Hello uze7, Here is the wiring match up for a 2009 Subaru Forester using the Metra 70-7552 wiring harness: NOTE: The actual harness will be listed as a Nissan harness, but has been used by Subaru since 2007. Also, I'm assuming that your Sony deck uses the standard color code. If not, you should have a manual that lists the function along with the colors. Match the wiring by function, not by color (although the colors may be the same). 2009 Subaru Forester Radio Wiring Color Code: Battery BLUE/RED (+) RADIO HARNESS Accessory YELLOW/RED (+) RADIO HARNESS Ground BLACK (-) RADIO HARNESS Illumination VIOLET (+) RADIO HARNESS Dimmer BLACK/WHITE (-) RADIO HARNESS Power Antenna YELLOW/BLACK (+) RADIO HARNESS LF Speaker (+) BROWN LF Speaker (-) BROWN/WHITE RF Speaker (+) BLUE/WHITE RF Speaker (-) BLUE/YELLOW LR Speaker (+) WHITE/BLACK LR Speaker (-) RED/YELLOW RR Speaker (+) GRAY RR Speaker (-) GRAY/RED Metra Harness: Yellow ? 12V Constant Red ? 12V Accessory Black - Ground Orange ? Dash Light Dimmer/Illumination Green ? Left Rear Speaker (+) Green/Black - Left Rear Speaker (-) White ? Left Front Speaker (+) White/Black ? Left Front Speaker (-) Purple ? Right Rear Speaker (+) Purple/Black - Right Rear Speaker (-) Gray ? Right Front Speaker (+) Gray/Black - Right Front Speaker (-) Standard CEA Color Code: Blue - Power Antenna Blue/White - Remote Turn-on Pink/Black - Audio Interrupt In (Phone) Orange - Illumination Red - Ignition (Switched 12V) Yellow - Battery (Constant 12V) Black - Ground Gray - Right Front Speaker (+) Gray/Black - Right Front Speaker (-) White - Left Front Speaker (+) White/Black -Left Front Speaker (-) Violet - Right Rear Speaker (+) Violet/Black - Right Rear Speaker (-) Green - Left Rear Speaker (+) Green/Black - Left Rear Speaker (-) Hope this helps.
