Ok, I need you to tell me, are you jerking it? Well what you do is push forward, still pushing, pull up and out. That should help. If not, email me at [email protected]

You really need to pull these out softly, If you don't you could seriously damage your printer. Also check if you have the right type of cartridge, some printers specify a certain brand and/or size of cartridge. I hope I helped. Good luck on your printer, I'm almost always on my comoputer so I'll know when you reply to this. If you have any questions please email me rather than comment on this problem. My email is in the previous message.

How to replace catridges for Epson Stylus Office T40W??

Hi,

Good day. I hope this steps can help you in replacing your cartridges. This how i remember doing it. Just follow these steps.

>Make sure the power light is on, but not flashing.
>Open the printer cover and the output tray.
>Press the ink button. The ink cartridge holder moves to the ink cartridge check position and the
power light begins to flash.
>Press the ink button again. If more than one ink cartridge is expended or low, the ink cartridge holder moves to the mark. This
occurs each time you press the ink button until all expended or low ink cartridges have been
indicated. Once all of the expended or low ink cartridges have been indicated, the ink cartridge
holder
moves to the ink cartridge replacement position when you press the ink button. >Open the cartridge cover and place the ink cartridge into the cartridge holder with the bottom down.
Then push down the ink cartridge until it clicks into place. Then close the cartridge cover
>Press the ink button and then the printer moves the ink cartridge holder and begins charging the
ink delivery system

Hope this will help you a bit with your ink cartridge replacement problem. Have a great day.

No cartridge the printer say. i put new cartridge in

It mean that the black cartridge is not recognised. It the black cart is original or compatible? Some printer won't recognise cartridge, if the black and colour is not same type. Try to install the black only. Is it recognised?

Pic`s wrong colors

you need to check
1) same color ink of the cartridge almost empty, change a new ink cartridge or refill the color ink (there is only one ink cartridge)
2) the cartridge ink channel dryer and constipated, take out the cartridge put the bottom surface touch down clean water (a little) 1 hr, then set back if the cartridge has enough ink.

Change printer ink

Turn on the printer.
lower th epirnter's output tray, pull out the extension, and open the cover.
press and release the ink button.
if your ink lights is on or flashing, the printer head moves to the left, and the cartridge that need to be replaced stops under the ink out mark.
open the cartridge cover
Pinch the back tab of the empty cartridge as your left it out of the printer.
shake the ink cartridge 4 to 5 times while it is still in the package.
unwarp the new ink cartridge and lower it into the holder. Push down gently until the cartridge is firmly seated.
repeal the procedure if more than one ink cartridge is out.
close the cartridge cover.
close the printer cover and press the ink button.
The green power light flashes and the printer makes noise. charge takes about a minutes. When it's finished, the green power light stops flashing and stay on, and the red ink light should go out.

Ink tank

Users having problem like ink cartridge is only partial used, but error code appear to check ink cartridge, maybe trying to taking out and putting back, it works sometime and problem occurs again,
  • By replace a new ink cartridge will sure help as the partial used one would be faulty already, and if you are using Canon ink cartridge, do call up Canon to report the issue and they will exchange a new ink cartridge for the faulty partial used cartridge as it due to the unique feature that Canon has build on the ink cartridges not properly done, which resulted to be faulty. Canon's purpose is to prevent the usage of 3rd party ink cartridges.
