SOURCE: Asko door latch stuck

The only way is to pull out the dishwasher ,unhook the latch and then unscrew the door panel.your dishwasher is installed with 2 screws to the underside of your countertop. its tricky but youll have to remove them adjust to leveling legs down this will give you more room to get some head bit in ther to remove the screws if its out then slide the d/w foward ,remove the strike plate door will open then you can get your dishes out first

SOURCE: asko d/w d3122 Hi gang the overfilling

Hi,

Have a look to make sure that the pump and drain hose are unblocked. If they are, you might have to call Asko and arrange a service call.

Good luck!

SOURCE: How do I remove the cerculation pump

Hello, With the right technique it isn't too bad, but it does require removing it from the cabinet/cupboard. This is what I do. FIRST**Turn off the power at the main service panel or unplug the unit.** Shut off the water and undo the water supply and drain hose. Remove as much water from the sump well as possible because you'll need to lye the dishwasher on its front ( remove any dishes inside and also get some towels or a blanket to lay it on so you don't damage the front panel or control's ). Once you have the unit out and face down, you'll see the back of the circulation motor&pump assembly...this is where it gets a little tricky, but I've done plenty and will guide you through. The clamps holding the pump hoses in place are "one time" clamps so once removed they'll need to be replaced with narrow "worm gear" clamps when installing the new pump assy. Undo the wires at the side of the motor ( A good idea would be to take a picture or draw a diagram, the picture is likely better...in my case at least ). Hopefully from here you will get the new one in. Let me know how you make out, I'll watch your post. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

SOURCE: asko D3120 remove door to clean

Depending on how thorough you are wanting to be depends on how far you want to dismantle the dishwasher, The outer door needs to be removed first, there are torx screws around the outside of the door which you need to remove and also 2 harder to spot ones at the bottom, The hinges are attached on the sides with another 2 torx screws each side but be careful as the hinges are under tension and can be a pain to align when putting back together.
Most of the time you don't need to remove the entire door to clean it but once the outer shell is off you can get to the front of the basepan where the dirt seems to gather around the lower door, A stiff bottle brush is good for cleaning this, Be very careful with the electronics and ensure you don't get any moisture near them, Also be careful with the wiring as due to exposure to heat the wires on this model can get brittle especially where the wires curve under the machine inside the plastic protective tube...

have fun.

My Asko D3122 has a motor that continues to run even with the power off. The only way to stop is to shut off the breaker. Can you help me?

If you are REALLY handy, look for a stuck relay. The timer may control the motor directly without triggering a relay. If that's the case you need a new timer. Usually the wiring diagram (schematic) is on a folded piece of paper stuck under the dishwasher or sometimes in back. I have seen a lot of stuck relays AND bad timers.

Asko D3122 WAX MOTOR

Can plug in either way. If was meant only one way, the plug would have a blocking protrusion on one side. Plus the motor will run only one direction no matter which side is the hot side of the wires. As long as is getting power, it will work.

Dead circulation pump capacitor: I have an Asko

Capacitor should have a uF and voltage rating stamped on it. They are NOT a one-size-fits-all.
Always keep your Owners Manuals so you can use it to get parts. Without seeing it myself, the part will probably have to be replaced.
Sometimes you can find the manufacturer online and get parts through their website.
Possibly find this capacitor at an AC shop.

ASKO dishwasher D3122 drain pump wont stop pumping and the machine wont respond when we press any of the program or start/stop buttons. the program light is flashing. We can turn the power off with the...

Had the same symptom; pump wouldn’t turn off, program light flashing and would stay on even if turned off, only killing the mains power would turn it off. Ended being a small split in drain hose right next to elbow under the unit.
This thread saved us from buying a new one as my wife was about to do...so thank you.

Asko D3122 dishwasher will not fill with water and will not turn off

you may have water under the dishwaher ... have any plumbing work done lately?

if the dishwaher overflows or leaks it will trip a float switch under the dishwasher... as long as it is triped it will run the drain pump.. and not let any water into the tub...

the water will have to be removed and the leak stopped before it will run a cycle....

Hope this helps if not let me know more about your problem..
