What sort of router, I'm guessing it's a wireless modem, your pc is plugged in via ethernet? Unplugging and replugging the router can often fix it. You will get lousy connection on wireless if you are outside the range of the router. If your wireless is off within the laptop it won't connect. There are hot keys along the top. One will be for your wireless, turn this on using the fn key.

Can't log in Engenius EAP-3660 .after rest factory settings.why? can you help me pls

You don't seem to understand what an Access Point is.

an AP is used to extend your wireless range and will connect to your routericon1.png to provide network and internet access. An AP by itself cannot connect to the ISP since it does not use a WAN port

a router is an AP that will allow you to connect to your ISP for internet connection. A router can be configured to work as an AP but a AP cannot function as a router.

Read the manual. When you reset the AP the IP of the AP device became 192.168.1.1
That means you need to set the IP address of your computer to 192.168.1.x where x is anything from 253-2 and the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0

TALKING ABOUT THE ACCESSING THE IP ADDRESS ON THE DWL-2000A,I DON'T THINK I UNDERSTAND THE SOLUTION TO THE CONNECTION BECOS THERE IS ONLY ONE LAN PORT ON THE AP WHICH ONE CAN CONNECT TO THE MODEM. SO IF...

To connect the AP directly to your PC you sould need a "crossed" LAN cable.

On you PC you need to set a IP Address of the same subnet of DWL-2000AP (defaul IP is 192.168.0.50) like 192.168.0.xxx

To set IP address on you PC: goto LAN devices, click properties on your LAN, scroll down and select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)", click properties, now set followingIP address:

IP: 192.168.0.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.50

Confim clicking OK OK OK...

Now you can access you devices tipyng http://192.168.0.50 on your prefered browser. Default login is "admin" as username and empty password.

Let me upate.

Router works but internet to computer does not.

Your pc might be using a static IP address. Make sure its on automatic. Go to Control Panel, Network Connections. Right-click on Local Area Connection and click Properties. Look for Internet Protocol TCP/IP and double click it. Select Obtain an IP Address Automatically and Obtain DNS Servers Automatically. Click OK all the way out. Also disable any firewall you have like Norton Firewall, McAffe, Zone Alarm and the likes.

Zoom AP+4 Router - IP Problems

Make sure your PC is connected to port 1 on the router. Reset the router first. Hold the reset button for 10 seconds then unplug the power for about 20 seconds then plug it back in. If the lights are solid, you can give it a try again doing the 10.0.0.200
